Rio Ferdinand has exercised his right to reply after Cristiano Ronaldo popped up to laugh at a video of his former Manchester United teammate working out.
After watching the less-than-impressive clip of Ferdinand bear-crawling around his garden, Ronaldo commented on the Instagram post, asking: "wtf is that?"
It didn't take long for Ferdinand to hit back by posting a second video of himself going through his paces, this time focusing on his upper body and core strength.

In the video, Ferdinand is seen repping weights before looking to the camera and addressing Ronaldo directly: "Just show up, get here and do it."
Given Ronaldo's famously rippling physique, 37-year-old Ferdinand may be wise not to make a contest of this.
