Chelsea stars like Courtois, Hazard get Winter Olympics treatment

To mark the Winter Olympics drawing toward their conclusion, Chelsea have assembled a team of representatives they hope can challenge for late glory out in Pyeongchang. However, rather than sending their athletes out to South Korea, the Blues have instead chosen to limit their inclusion to a series of illustrations posted on social media.

The club kicked things off by re-imagining young defender Ethan Ampadu as a champion snowboarder, largely due to his gnarly dreadlocks.

Of course, it then made perfect sense that Thibaut Courtois stuck with his favoured position, tending the net as part of Chelsea's imagined ice hockey squad.

Lightweight and nimble, Eden Hazard put his dazzling slalom skills to good use on the ski slope.

Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas was given the opportunity to really test his pinpoint precision in the biathlon.

Up top, the Blues went with a pair of skeleton bobsledders in the shape of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.

Several other players were also given new winter sports to try out, with Victor Moses handed ice-dancing duties and N'Golo Kante entered into the marathon ski event.

Chelsea's Olympians will have it all on to start climbing the medal table before the 2018 Games close this Sunday, especially as they have a big match against Manchester United on the same day.
