The Newcastle Jets mustered a decent 2-1 victory over Melbourne City in their A-League semifinal on Friday night.
Having fallen behind in the 14th minute it was left to midfielder Riley McGree, who is on loan at the Jets from Club Brugge, to restore parity with an absolutely dumbfounding strike.

Wow. A long-range scorpion backheel volley lob from outside the area. That's definitely one you don't see everyday.
In fact, we're not entirely sure if we've seen anything like McGree's audacious strike ever before.
