Barcelona's La Liga title roll of honour has Gerard Deulofeu feeling left out

There is nothing worse than being forgotten, which is what it felt like for Spanish forward Gerard Deulofeu when Barcelona did not include his name on their commemorative shirt after clinching the La Liga title.

Barca prevailed 4-2 at Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday to capture the league crown with four games still remaining.

Deulofeu scored one goal and set up another in 10 league appearances for the Calatan giants before joining Premier League side Watford in January on loan until the end of the season.

Barca did not include his name, or the names of the players that left the club during the winter transfer window, including Arda Turan (İstanbul Başakşehir) and Javier Mascherano (Hebei China Fortune), on their celebratory T-shirt.

Deulofeu posted two photographs of Barcelona players celebrating on the pitch and another of the celebratory shirt that listed the names in the current squad and asked where his name was.

A youth product of Barcelona, Deulofeu was sold to Everton in 2015 after failing to secure first-team football at Barca. Barca activated a buy-back clause for him in the summer of 2017.

The 24-year-old is tied to Barcelona until June 2019.
