Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher swap Manchester United and Liverpool shirts

Monday night saw the ever-simmering (and largely good-natured) hostilities between Gary Neville and his fellow Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher continue.

As the result of a penalty-scoring wager made earlier this month, Neville was forced to a Liverpool shirt -- much to his chagrin. But the former Manchester United player had a trick up his sleeve, with a Red Devils jersey for Carragher to wear.

Neville reluctantly wriggled into a Liverpool shirt with "23 Shaqiri" on the back, which was actually signed and provided by Xherdan Shaqiri, who sent it to the pundit as a special gift with a message for his "No. 1 fan." Neville was very critical of the Switzerland international's Premier League performances for Stoke during his World Cup punditry.

As well as the inevitable cross-club banter that arose from the shirt exchange, the pundits said they would hold an online auction and donate the proceeds to their chosen charities.

Excellent stuff.
