Manchester United's preseason tour kicked off in lively fashion in Australia with what looked suspiciously like a brief altercation between two players, namely Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

The club shared a video on social media of the squad walking off their long-haul flight on the streets of Perth. One shot in the montage appeared to include a quick but nevertheless heated exchange of words and angry glares between the pair, before Victor Lindelof stepped in as apparent peacemaker.

The clip certainly caused a fuss among United fans on social media, with many speculating on what was said to spark what looks like a tiff between teammates. Here are our best guesses.

Ghana's AFCON exit was a real tear-jerker

Ghana's run at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations came to an end in the round of 16 after losing out to Tunisia in a penalty shootout on Tuesday.

Oddly, it seemed like the Black Stars' official Twitter account were quite happy with the result, given the sheer amount of exclamation marks on show.

The defeat was all too much to bear for midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, who simply couldn't hide his emotions in his post-match news conference.

"My reason [for being so upset] was that I thought this tournament was for us due to the hard work we've been putting in in every match," Wakaso sobbed. "That is the reason why I'm like this right now but still have a future so we need to think ahead."

Heart-breaking stuff.

Richarlison dedicates Copa win to great-grandmother, forgets her name

Brazil star Richarlison dedicated his goal in the Copa America final win over Peru to his great-grandmother, but when asked to name her, he could not remember it.

The Everton striker replaced Roberto Firmino and scored a 90th-minute penalty to make it 3-1 and secure Brazil's first tournament win since 2007.

Speaking to Brazilian TV SporTV after the game, Richarlison dedicated the goal to his great-grandma.

When asked to name her, he said: "I can't remember! I've forgotten! I don't know, it's just so much emotion.

"I can't recall it. The important thing is that I scored for her. It's time to celebrate now, but I'll tell you if I remember."

He later remembered and while SporTV were interviewing Brazilian teammate Casemiro, he shouted her name: "Dona Julita!"
