Man United could pay £45m for Renato Sanches; Ayoze Perez linked to Barca

The summer window will be opening before you know it, and rumours around the world are picking up steam. As always, Transfer Talk has its finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest gossip. See the latest deals here.

TOP STORY: United move closer to Sanches deal

Manchester United have moved a step closer to securing a deal for Benfica's wonderkid Renato Sanches, according to the Express, who cite Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

The 18-year-old could cost the Red Devils up to £45 million and Benfica's president Luis Felipe Vieira will demand £30m upfront with a further £15m to come in performance-related bonuses.

United's manager for next season is yet to be confirmed. If Louis van Gaal does depart, his likely replacement Jose Mourinho (see below) is known to be a big fan of Sanches and would welcome his arrival at Old Trafford.

Barcelona may move for Newcastle's Perez

Barcelona are keen to bring Newcastle's Ayoze Perez to the Camp Nou this summer in what will likely prove to be one of the most bizarre moves of the transfer season.

The Mirror says the Blaugrana want Perez to be an understudy for their superstar attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar after current backups Sandro Ramirez and Munir El Haddadi have grown tired of a lack of game time.

The Toon captured Perez in a bargain £1.5m deal in 2014 from Tenerife and could now be set to make a hefty profit for the 22-year-old forward.

Leicester look to beat Chelsea to Manolas

Newly crowned Premier League champions Leicester City will target Roma's dominant centre-back Kostas Manolas this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Foxes will look to the Greek international, who Ranieri knows from his time as manager of Greece, to bolster their already impeccable defence and beat out the Blues in the process.

The Giallorossi forked out €15m for the former Olympiakos centre-back and the 24-year-old now looks set for a big move to the Premier League.

Juventus keen to land Matic

Juventus have agreed a deal with Chelsea for Nemanja Matic and will part with £20m for the Serbia international, according to the Star.

Matic, like the vast majority of the Blues this season, has struggled for form and lost his place to Jon Obi Mikel once Guus Hiddink replaced Jose Mourinho as manager.

But the Bianconeri could be set to hand the 27-year-old a fresh start and add to an already sensational midfield that includes Sami Khedira, Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio.

Tap-Ins

- While one Chelsea player may move to Turin, the Star also reports that the Blues will take back loanee Juan Cuadrado, who spectacularly flopped last season after moving to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina.

Cuadrado struggled to adapt to the Premier League but has recaptured something close to the form he produced for the Viola, which has convinced Antonio Conte to give the Colombian another chance.

- Spurs are plotting a summer move for Senegal and Sion striker Moussa Konate after a productive spell in the Swiss league, according to the Mirror.

After netting 24 goals in 46 games for the Rouge et Blanc, Spurs are ready to pay £6m for the 23-year-old.

- Colombian striker Radamel Falcao looks likely to leave the Premier League after two seasons at Manchester United and Chelsea with a shock move to Galatasaray mentioned by Turkish newspaper Fotomac.

Galatasaray's financial problems though, in addition to a European ban due to a breach of UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations, complicate any deal for the 30-year-old.
