City enter Griezmann sweepstakes
Antoine Griezmann could be the biggest signing in the world next summer, and the Mirror reported that Manchester City and United will battle it out for the France star.
It could cost a reported £70 million to pry the 25-year-old from Atletico Madrid, though the striker's contract runs until 2021.
Los Colchoneros are resigned to losing their talisman, and Pep Guardiola is agitated to add the former Real Sociedad star to forge a mouthwatering partnership with Sergio Aguero.
Everton fancy Basti
They suffered one of the biggest drubbings in Premier League history on Saturday at the hands of a rampant Chelsea, but the Star believes Everton will make an ambitious move for Manchester United's Bastian Schweinsteiger.
It is thought that United will even consider paying half of his £200,000 per week wages between now and the summer to allow the Toffees to take a look at the Germany international on loan.
A permanent move could then be finalised, as Ronald Koeman desperately attempts to convince Evertonians, whose faith is dwindling after such a demoralising defeat this weekend.

Arsenal target Gimenez
Shkodran Mustafi was Arsenal's key signing last summer to bolster their defence, but the Sun reported that Arsene Wenger is keen to add more defensive clout by acquiring Atletico Madrid's Jose Gimenez.
The Uruguayan centre-back burst on the scene several years ago to bed into one of Europe's most sturdy defences, coached by Diego Simeone.
The arrival of Stefan Savic meant the 21-year-old spent the majority of the last year sat on the bench, though that might not prevent £54 million bids -- to meet the sum of his release clause -- from the Gunners and Manchester United.
Carroll to hit Chinese jackpot
West Ham are used to making do without Andy Carroll, who has had an injury-ravaged couple of seasons, but the Express reported that the former England striker could strike it lucky with a frankly unbelievable offer from China.
The Hammers striker could bank £300,000 per week to join the Chinese Premier League, with Beijing Guoan and Guangzhou R and F said to be readying offers.
Carroll is thought to be seriously considering the move, and who can blame him three years on from the modest return of just 23 goals in 92 appearances after his £15 million move?

Tap-ins
- Napoli will attempt to lure Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrovic to Serie A in January, with the Mirror reporting that an £18 million bid will be tabled.
That would present a tempting £5 million profit on their original investment, though promotion is almost guaranteed, which could mean Rafael Benitez would prefer to maintain the fiery Serbian to tackle the Premier League next season.
- Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho will be offered an escape route from Anfield, with the People revealing Leicester and West Ham are set to make January moves for the French defender.
His fractured relationship with Jurgen Klopp means Sakho's future is certain to be away from Merseyside, and without a game yet this season, the 26-year-old might jump at the opportunity to salvage some of the current season.
