TOP STORY: United line up Celtic raid for Dembele

Manchester United are preparing a January move for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, with the Mail reporting that the Red Devils sent scouts to observe the 20-year-old in action for France's under-21s against England.

Jose Mourinho is a fan of the former Fulham starlet and even scouted Dembele last season in the Championship.

Celtic look set to stand firm on Dembele, with the chance to turn a tidy profit after spending only a nominal fee last summer to bring him to Parkhead. But after 16 goals in his debut season, United, as well as Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, are thought to be ready to make a move.

Lampard could stay in MLS

Frank Lampard announced his exit from New York City FC, casting doubt as to whether the former Chelsea star would continue his playing career, but the Mirror revealed that the 38-year-old will consider several offers to extend his career -- some right where he is in the United States.

Two of the interested squads are believed to be from MLS clubs Orlando City and LA Galaxy, who would be delighted to replace one former England international with another, after Steven Gerrard's departure from Los Angeles.

Lampard has confirmed he will decide his future "very soon," with talk of a move into coaching with the Blues in some capacity also a mooted option.

Mourinho closes in on new right-back

Mourinho won't be content with raiding Celtic this winter, though, as the Mirror reported that Paris Saint-Germain's Serge Aurier is a target as his new right-back at United, after the manager watched the Ivorian in action against France this week.

Antonio Valencia is currently on the sideline with a broken arm, and Mourinho is far from convinced by Matteo Darmian, who recently expressed confusion over the Portuguese's reluctance to select him in the United XI.

The report suggests PSG will demand as much as £18 million if the Red Devils are to make a deal for the 23-year-old happen in January.

Conte ready to loan Blues to Bilic

Antonio Conte and Slaven Bilic have struck up an unlikely bond that could see West Ham receive their pick of Chelsea's top talents on loan, and the Telegraph reported that Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Dominic Solanke have been discussed.

Although temporary deals are likely to be available, the Hammers are also interested in permanent moves, with previous interest in Asmir Begovic and Cesc Fabregas.

West Ham are also targeting Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge after the England international's struggles to nail down a starting spot in Jurgen Klopp's side.
