Transfer Rater: Toni Kroos to Man United, Justin Kluivert to Barcelona

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Lorenzo Insigne to Arsenal

Top of Serie A again after beating SPAL 1-0, Napoli are attracting plenty of interest as they attempt to deny Juventus their seventh successive Scudetto. Coach Maurizio Sarri is reportedly on Chelsea's shortlist to replace boss Antonio Conte, while forward Insigne has emerged as an Arsenal transfer target, according to The Sun. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has had the Italian attacker watched, along with centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly. Quite where Insigne, who has 10 goals in all competitions this season, would fit in is another matter altogether.

Justin Kluivert to Barcelona

The latest talent set to roll off the Ajax production line to join one of Europe's elite clubs appears to be pacy forward Kluivert. Having already said he would consider a move to the Premier League, the teenager is now being linked with Barcelona -- the club his father, Patrick, played for between 1998 and 2004. Kluivert Jr. is, according to The Sun, one of four Ajax players being watched by the Catalans. The others are Matthijs de Ligt, Donny van de Beek and Frenkie de Jong.

Wilfried Zaha to Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace talisman Zaha has long been subject of Tottenham transfer rumours. The winger-cum-forward has been the star of the Eagles' rise from the Premier League relegation zone and is viewed as one of the most exciting talents outside the top six. According to the Daily Mirror, though, Spurs will face stiff competition for the 25-year-old from top-six rivals Chelsea and Manchester City. Whether Spurs will be so desperate to bag the Ivory Coast international after spending £25 million on Lucas Moura last month is another matter.

Toni Kroos to Manchester United

There has been plenty of talk about Manchester United's midfield in the last week with Paul Pogba's future coming under the microscope. However, according to The Independent, a move for Real Madrid's Kroos will not affect the Frenchman. Kroos, a World Cup winner with Germany in 2014, is being signed to bolster United's midfield and should allow Pogba to play on the left of a midfield three - his favoured position. The 28-year-old is a key player for Real but the European champions are expected to make some high-profile sales this summer to raise funds for rebuilding the team.

Christian Pulisic to Chelsea

Borussia Dortmund starlet Pulisic is one of the hottest properties in Europe and it appears only to be a matter of time until the United States international leaves the Westfalenstadion. The latest club linked with the forward are Chelsea. According to the Daily Mail, the Blues will use striker Michy Batshuayi -- who is currently starring on loan at Dortmund -- as a makeweight in the deal.
