Transfer Talk: Spurs want Wilfried Zaha, Ryan Sessegnon to replace Moussa Sissoko, Danny Rose

The summer window opens soon and Transfer Talk has the latest rumours.

Pochettino wants huge Spurs shake-up

This could be a big summer at Tottenham -- the Telegraph reports that Mauricio Pochettino "will ask chairman Daniel Levy and owner Joe Lewis to sanction a £150 million overhaul of his squad."

A 5-4 win over Leicester saw Spurs finish third in the Premier League, but Pochettino wants them to take the next step.

The Telegraph says he is asking for funds "to bring in the players he wants and freedom to sell those he feels he can replace."

Tottenham are keen for Pochettino to sign a new contract, but the coach "wants promises over the direction he can take the club in."

Defenders Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose are among those potentially on their way out, while Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha and Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon are targets.

Pochettino also wants stars such as Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris to be tied down on new contracts.

The Mirror says Spurs will listen to offers for Alderweireld and Rose, while Pochettino "is also ready to wave goodbye to Mousa Dembele, Fernando Llorente and Moussa Sissoko.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Alderweireld, while Rose has been linked with United and Dembele "is ready to listen to offers from Italy and China."

United and PSG to battle for Fred

It's a Manchester United vs. PSG battle for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred, according to the Manchester Evening News.

It reports that United "have intensified their interest" in the Brazil international, but PSG are also making midfield reinforcements a priority.

Fred, who was close to joining Manchester City in the winter, has a reported release clause of around £50m, with Shakhtar "reluctant to budge" over the price.

The Evening News says City "are believed to have ended their pursuit" and are instead prioritising Napoli midfielder Jorginho, previously a reported United target.

Gunners in front in Seri race

Meanwhile, Arsenal have moved ahead of City in the chase for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri, according to the Mirror.

Citing reports in France, it says Seri's agent has "a close relationship" with Arsenal head of football relations Raul Sanllehi -- and that could seal a deal.

Ivory Coast international Seri has a release clause that means he will be available for £35m when the window opens.

The Mirror says Arsenal "are in a strong position" despite City having held talks with the player's representatives, but may yet have to fend off late competition from Chelsea, who have been in touch with Nice about a move.

Tap-ins

- Speculation may surround the future of Leicester boss Claude Puel, but the Leicester Mercury says he will be holding talks with the club's hierarchy about transfer plans.

It reports that the Foxes are in for a busy summer, with stars including Wes Morgan, Shinji Okazaki and Danny Simpson coming towards the end of their contracts.

- Newcastle finished with a flourish against Chelsea, and TalkSPORT reports that they are looking at Mainz striker Yoshinori Muto as manager Rafa Benitez targets attacking additions.

Japan international Muto, who has scored 10 goals for the Bundesliga side this season, has also been reported to be interesting West Ham.

- Former Australia international Mark Schwarzer believes Brighton keeper Maty Ryan would suit Arsenal's style of play "down to the ground," according to the Herald Sun.
