Transfer Rater: Chelsea linked with goalkeeper Jan Oblak, forward Nabil Fekir

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Yannick Bolasie to Crystal Palace

Bolasie could be on his way back to Selhurst Park, after leaving for Everton in 2016. The 29-year-old has reportedly been told he can leave by Marco Silva, and Palace manager Roy Hodgson would like to sign another forward after the departure of Bakary Sako. Palace are keen to keep Wilfried Zaha either way, according to the Evening Standard, so if Bolasie re-joins, that doesn't mean that their star winger is on the move elsewhere.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Manchester United

The transfer story of the summer doesn't seem to be over just yet, with reports from Calcio Mercato that Manchester United might be back in for Milinkovic-Savic. Reportedly, United are preparing a large bid for the player in an attempt to get the deal done before the end of the English transfer window on Thursday, but Lazio's president Claudio Lotito is hoping for a fee of £138 million for the Serbian.

Jan Oblak to Chelsea

With Thibaut Courtois a Real Madrid transfer target, Chelsea have spent most of the summer linked to other goalkeepers. The latest is a bit of a shock, as few had considered Oblak as available, but the Slovenian reportedly has a release clause of £89m and, according to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea are willing to pay it.

Thiago Maia to West Ham United

Some Premier League clubs have had a quiet transfer window. West Ham is not one of them. In 21-year-old Maia, they look to be wanting to add another, according to the Evening Standard - in this case as a holding midfielder to replace Cheikhou Kouyate who has joined Crystal Palace. The Lille player, an Olympic gold medallist in Rio, is also a Newcastle United transfer target, though, so West Ham have competition.

Nabil Fekir to Chelsea

There was a time when Fekir looked set to be joining Liverpool, and there's still time for him to find his way to the Premier League. But, now, it could be Stamford Bridge he's aiming for instead of Anfield. According to Talksport, the London club are interested in the midfielder and the Frenchman hasn't ruled himself out of leaving Lyon.
