Transfer Rater: Kieran Tierney to Tottenham, Ruben Neves to Manchester City

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Kieran Tierney to Tottenham

Tottenham may have the opportunity to sign Tierney in a cut-price £10 million deal in January following Celtic's failure to qualify for the Champions League. Tottenham chased the highly rated Scotland international in the summer but were unwilling to meet Celtic's £25m valuation. However, The Daily Mail reports that the Scottish champions' shock exit in the Champions League qualifying rounds to AEK Athens could cost the club millions and force them into selling some of their key players. Tierney, 21, would provide competition at left-back for Ben Davies, with Danny Rose out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino.

Filipe Luis to Paris Saint-Germain

Cadena SER claims the veteran defender has agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain, with the French champions still keen to add a left-back having missed out on Juventus' Alex Sandro Luis, who has made more than 300 appearances in two spells at Atletico Madrid, has fallen down the pecking order under Diego Simeone following the emergence of Lucas Hernandez. Simeone does not want the Brazil international to leave but reports in Spain have said the player was bitterly disappointed to be left out of the starting line-up for last week's UEFA Super Cup victory over Real Madrid.

Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig

The Toffees will struggle to hold on to Lookman, who is the subject of an improved £22m bid from RB Leipzig, per The Mirror. The 20-year-old forward impressed during a loan spell with the Bundesliga club in the second half of last season. With the arrivals of Richarlison and Bernard at Goodison Park, Lookman faces stiff competition for a starting place under Marco Silva. Everton are holding out for closer to £30m for the England under-21 international, who scored five times in 11 appearances for Leipzig last season.

Ruben Neves to Manchester City

The Premier League champions are plotting a £60m swoop for the gifted Wolves midfielder, according to The Sun. Neves has already caught the eye in the Premier League having lit up the Championship last season. Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of the 21-year-old playmaker and is keen to add a central midfielder to his squad having missed out on Jorginho in the summer transfer window. Neves scored a stunning free-kick to earn Wolves a 2-2 draw against Everton last week.

Divock Origi to Borussia Dortmund

The Belgian striker could be on his way out of Liverpool, with Borussia Dortmund his most likely destination. Dortmund boss Lucien Favre is keen to add a striker before the Bundesliga's Aug. 31 transfer deadline, but the Premier League side will not lower their £27m valuation, according to the Liverpool Echo. Origi is looking for a new club after having been informed by Jurgen Klopp his services are not required this season. The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Wolfsburg, had been linked with Wolves but a move failed to materialise.
