TOP STORY: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turns to King
Manchester United are in need of a few new players but this one might surprise you. The Sun claim that new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is after fellow Norwegian Josh King of Bournemouth.
King is valued at around £25m, which is reportedly half of United's January transfer budget, and has previously been linked with a move to Tottenham. However, with Solskjaer now in the hotseat at Old Trafford, could the striker be persuaded to come back to Manchester?
Yes, if you didn't know that already, King started his career at United and worked with Solskjaer in the United reserves. Now 26, King may not fancy sitting on the bench behind Marcus Rashford for the duration of his contract but the paper claim that Solskjaer is a "massive fan" of his. He managed to make United good again (for one game at least) so maybe he can have a positive impact on transfers too.

21:30 GMT: Juventus has entered the race for Lyon over midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to TransferMarketWeb. The France international's agent said his client could be worth up to €80 million, with Manchester City and Barcelona among those interested.
16:55 GMT: Roma defender Kostas Manolas has hired Mino Raiola as his new agent, according to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport. He will discuss his future with the club, but Manchester United may be interested in meeting his €36m release clause.

16.10 GMT: The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio has said his client is proud of the interest from Inter Milan, but is keen to stay in the Spanish capital.
"It is an honour that a club like Inter would be interested in Marco," Horacio Gaggioli told FC Inter News. "I'm not sure if it's true but, for the moment, the player has no intention of leaving Madrid."

13.16 GMT: Catalan-based Mundo Deportivo report Munir will not leave Barcelona in January -- but don't rule out a summer exit.
12.55 GMT: A report in AS claims Atletico Madrid's leading stars have spoken to Lucas Hernandez following reported interest from Bayern Munich in a bid to convince the France international to stay.
However, his response was "cold."
12.19 GMT: Borussia Dortmund may have a fight to hold of England international Jadon Sancho with The Sun reporting Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are monitoring the winger's progress.
11.40 GMT: New Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have an early battle on his hands to keep Marcus Rashford at the club as the Express report Barcelona are keen to lure him away.
The outlet adds that Real Madrid and AC Milan are also interested with the England international seeking assurances over his future.
11.02 GMT: After being hammered 5-1 by Man United on Saturday, Cardiff could use some good news. But they're not getting any on the transfer front as boss Neil Warnock revealed that Nantes want more money than the £15m they are reportedly willing to pay for striker Emiliano Sala.
"It's very difficult. I thought we agreed a fee with a club but then they came back with another couple of million," he said. "If he's coming over, it won't be for £20m. He was one of the players [we are looking at]. I expect to bring two or three but it may not be our first choices. I'm not going to have a gun put to my head."
10.30 GMT: Turkish Super Lig leaders Istanbul Basaksehir would jump at the chance to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil according to president Goksel Gumusdag.
"Mesut Ozil is a precious player," Gumusdag said, as quoted by Bild. "I hope one day our paths will cross at Basaksehir. If he wants to be with us as well, we would do anything to get him."
And by 'anything' he presumably means finding a way to pay the German's reported £350,000-a-week salary.
10.07 GMT: Manchester United are reportedly going to appoint a director of football and goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel believes he would make a good candidate.
"I'm actually thinking about putting my name in there," Schmeichel told the BBC. "I really want to get involved in football again at some point. I know I'm getting older, but my life has just turned out a different way after I retired from football."

Asked about Les Parisiens' January transfer plans, Thomas Tuchel admitted that a midfielder is of high priority when quizzed about Everton's Idrissa Gueye. "I cannot speak about him -- top secret (joking)! Yes, we have a list [of targets] and I hope that a midfielder will arrive as we need one!"
09.00 GMT: Paris Saint-Germain right-back Thomas Meunier has defended teammate Adrien Rabiot after the French champions' supporters reacted badly to the news that the youth academy graduate will not be signing a contract extension and has subsequently been frozen out of the senior setup.
"Adrien is a youngster who has shown multiple times that he was invested in PSG," said Meunier after the 1-0 win over Nantes. "I remember when he pocketed Lionel Messi (during the 4-0 Champions League round of 16 first leg win of 2017).
"Actually, the supporters are upset at losing such a player. However, I must admit, Adrien is not the only one at fault here. It is a shame that the club was unable to reach an agreement with him. It would have been great to keep a player like Adrien -- everybody, staff and players, knows that. This sort of thing can happen, though. When a player like Adrien, at 23, has this sort of opportunity and inevitably gets loads of offers at the end of his contract, it is a magnificent situation that cannot be ignored."

Juventus monitoring Man United star
Much was expected of Romelu Lukaku after he shone for Belgium at the World Cup, but he has struggled at Manchester United this season and even lost his place in the starting XI during the final weeks of Jose Mourinho's reign at Old Trafford.
But his patchy form hasn't put off potential suitors, and Calciomercato claims Juventus are tracking Lukaku as a long-term replacement for 32-year-old Mario Mandzukic.
The Old Lady have also been linked with Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial this term, however, Mourinho's sacking has reportedly reduced the risk of United's star names pushing for moves away from Old Trafford.
Juve a leading contender for Ramsey too
After almost a decade with Arsenal, Aaron Ramsey looks set to leave the Emirates next summer when his contract expires. A host of clubs have shown interest in the Wales star but Sky Sport Italia states Juventus are now in pole position to sign him.
Although many sides have reportedly been scared off by the 27-year-old's wage demands, the Serie A leaders are willing to offer Ramsey a large salary as bringing him to Turin will not involve a transfer fee.
Ramsey isn't the only midfielder in whom Juventus are interested. The report also claims the Italian club are monitoring Isco's situation at Real Madrid and could launch a bid if he becomes available.
Chelsea plan January move for Fekir
The Blues will look to ease the creative burden on Eden Hazard when the transfer window reopens and, according to the Daily Mail, they are hoping to complete a deal for Lyon star Nabil Fekir.
The World Cup winner was set for a switch to Liverpool last summer only for the move to fall through after a reported fee of £52.75 million had been agreed.
Chelsea hope to pay less than that, though, as Fekir's contract expires in the summer of 2020. The Blues have also been linked with AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain, who could arrive in a potential swap deal for Alvaro Morata.
United scouts cast eye over Roma defender
Central defence has been a problem area for Manchester United this season; prior to his sacking Mourinho complained regularly about the club's failure to land another centre-back.
United seem intent on bolstering their back line in January and, according to Football Italia, representatives from the Red Devils were on hand to watch Kostas Manolas in action during Roma's 1-0 defeat to Juventus this evening.
The Greece international has a release clause in his contract of around £32m. United have previously been linked with Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic.

Mesut Ozil to Real Madrid -- 3.2
The Gunners playmaker has fallen out with Unai Emery this season and Arsenal are exploring a deal which would see him return to Real Madrid and Isco head to the Emirates in January. However, the Independent report Real value the Spanish star at £100m, meaning any deal would require Arsenal to pay a substantial fee.
Idrissa Gueye to Paris Saint-Germain -- 2.9
They may be racing away at the top of Ligue 1 but PSG want to strengthen their midfield in January. The French side sounded out Liverpool about taking Fabinho on loan for the second half of the campaign but didn't get far. So they have touched base with the Everton midfielder's representatives, although he is likely to cost more than the £20m PSG have to spend due to FFP.
Michy Batshuayi to Crystal Palace -- 2.7
Currently on loan at Valencia, Chelsea are ready to cut that deal short in order to sell the Belgian permanently in January. Monaco, AC Milan and Roma all hold an interest in Batshuayi but Chelsea have offered the striker to Crystal Palace and the Premier League side are considering a deal.
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to Monaco -- 2.5
A forgotten man at White Hart Lane, Nkoudou impressed for Spurs in preseason but has only featured in 27 minutes of action for Spurs this term. He is set to leave in January and Monaco have made an enquiry about taking him on loan, according to reports in France.
