TOP STORY: Ramsey signs Juve pre-contractJuventus have got their man, with the club confirmed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who will arrive this summer on a free transfer. "Free" is a relative term, however, with the BBC's David Ornstein reporting that Ramsey will take home an eye-watering £400,000 a week. The price you pay when you don't have to fork over a transfer fee. There is some dispute on the figures reported, as you might expect, with our Gab Marcotti tweeting that his sources inform him that Ramsey's wages are actually closer to £250,000 a week. Ramsey reportedly passed a medical at the end of January, and his new deal will keep him in Turin for four years following an 11-season turn in North London. LIVE BLOG18.54 GMT: Longtime MLS front man Quincy Amarikwa, who's led the line for the San Jose Earthquakes (on two separate occasions), the Colorado Rapids, Toronto FC, the Chicago Fire and Montreal Impact, is in the process of signing for D.C. United to become Wayne Rooney's backup, according to the Washington Posts's Steven Goff. 17.17 GMT: Chelsea target Daniele Rugani is set to sign a contract extension at Juventus, according to Calciomercato, who reports that the 21-year-old centre-back is set to double his wages from €1.5m annually to €3m. 16.00 GMT: German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine reports that Bundesliga top scorer Luka Jovic, on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica, is set to sign for Barcelona. It says the La Liga leaders have seen off competition from Real Madrid to sign the Serbia forward, who had also been reported to be interesting Bayern Munich and Chelsea. 15.15 GMT: Back to Newcastle's Miguel Almiron again -- he says Rafa Benitez was a key factor in his decision to swap MLS for the Premier League, telling Sky Sports: "From the word go, he showed great interest in me. It was a big moment, not just for me but for my career as well, and I was really happy. Any player would feel the same when a manager like Rafa gets in touch and shows interest in you." 14.02 GMT: Leicester manager Claude Puel has told Sky Sports he is unfazed by reports that Spurs remain interested in midfielder James Maddison, who joined from Norwich last summer, saying Leicester can view them "with a good feeling" because it shows the progress he is making in the Premier League. 13.45 GMT: Some contract news from Old Trafford: 13.30 GMT: Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on the future and considering a move for teenage Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, according to reports in Germany. 13.15 GMT: Following his appointment as manager of League Two Oldham Athletic, former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes will be "backed 100 percent," says club owner Abdallah Lemsagam. Does a busy summer in the transfer market beckon? 12.45 GMT: And staying with Newcastle players, the Mirror reports that on-loan Chelsea attacker Kenedy "has been getting one-to-one chats with Rafa Benitez to get his career back on track," but Benitez has stressed that his loan spell will not be ended early. 12.15 GMT: Newcastle's record signing Miguel Almiron faces "a very big step" after moving to the Premier League from MLS club Atlanta, Wolves' Mexico international Raul Jiminez has said. Jiminez told Sky Sports: "It's a very big step, it's very, very different. I wasn't in the MLS but it's more or less like Mexico and I think it's a very big step for him. He's a good player. Newcastle saw something in him to take him to the Premier League."  10.49 GMT: Barcelona still believe that record signing Philippe Coutinho has a long-term future at the club as pressure continues to rise on the out-of-form Brazilian, sources have told ESPN FC.
Coutinho has been taken off in each of Barca's last three matches and his position in the starting lineup is now under threat following the return of Ousmane Dembele. Dembele replaced Coutinho for the final 15 minutes of Sunday's goalless draw at Athletic Bilbao. Prior to the Frenchman's injury, the former Liverpool playmaker had started four consecutive league games on the bench. Sources admit that there are doubts about where exactly Coutinho fits into Ernesto Valverde's side but called for patience to be shown with the €160m signing. 10.23 GMT: Stop us if you've heard this one but Calciomercato claim that Juventus are at the front of the queue for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, despite the fact that Barcelona, Manchester City and Liverpool are also chasing the 19-year-old's signature. 09.25 GMT: ICYMI - Minnesota United announced on Sunday that it has signed former Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone on a season-long loan from Championship club Reading. 08.53 GMT: Evidently Marouane Fellaini had a choice and he opted for China over Paris. 08.30 GMT: Superdeporte report that Levante are close to selling Ghana striker Emanuel Boateng to Chinese outfit Dalian Yifang. The 22-year-old Ghana international travelled to Madrid on Sunday night and will undergo a medical in the Spanish capital on Monday with a view to join Dalian Yifang in a €11m transfer. According to Superdeporte, should the deal be completed, it will be the second biggest transfer in Levante's history following the sale of Jefferson Lerma to Bournemouth for €30m in the summer of 2018. PAPER TALK (by Richard Edwards)Fed to the Wolves? Black Country men want FelixWolves are planning a swoop for Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix, says the Mirror. Felix has emerged as one of European football's hottest prospects since making his Benfica bow in August. Since then, he has been banging in goals and turning heads for the Portuguese giants -- all before turning 20. Wolves won't be short of competition for his signature, with some of the continent's biggest names jostling for a place in the queue. Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all believed to be interested in signing a player who is unlikely to come cheap, particularly as his contract with Benfica doesn't end until 2023. But the Mirror is convinced that the well-publicised link between Wolves and agent Jorge Mendes could give the Premier League side the upper hand in the fight for his signature. Ole Ole Ole, job job jobThe Sun reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be handed the full-time job as Old Trafford manager. Solskjaer has turned United from a dysfunctional team to the form side in Europe since taking the hot-seat from Jose Mourinho. United are publicly adamant that the quest to find a new permanent boss remains ongoing, but Solskjaer's incredible turnaround means any move to appoint someone else to the role could end up being deeply unpopular with fans. The manager met co-owner Avram Glazer after Saturday's 3-0 win at Fulham -- the club's 10th win in 11 games under Solskjaer. Any move to appoint him will be welcomed by Spurs fans, with the Londoners' boss Mauricio Pochettino widely reported to be United's top target. Milan eye Bakayoko discountChelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko endured a torrid time in London, so it should come as no surprise that the former Monaco midfielder is desperate to make his temporary switch to Milan permanent. Getting any deal over the line might be difficult, though. Calciomercato reports that the Italian giants are eyeing a discount on the €35 million fee they've already agreed with the Blues and plan to start playing hardball in April. The player is planning for a future away from Stamford Bridge and has instructed his management team to do all they can to make the transfer a reality. Tap-ins- La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter are ready to make a move for Barca star Ivan Rakitic -- and that the Croatia international would rather move to Italy than the Premier League. He has been linked with a series of English clubs, including Everton, in recent days. - Edin Dzeko could be on his way to West Ham for £15m according to Calciomercato, which reports that the former Manchester City star could join from Roma. - Could Kasper Schmeichel be looking for a move away from Leicester? The Sun certainly thinks so, quoting his dad, Denmark and Manchester United legend Peter, who said that the Foxes didn't have a manager capable of getting the best out of the club's players. The Denmark No. 1 has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Roma in the recent past.
