20.42 BST: Sylvinho, the former Arsenal and Barcelona left-back, is expected to be named the next Lyon manager over the weekend, sources have confirmed to ESPN. The Brazilian, 45, was Brazil U23 head coach since earlier this year and was also Tite's assistant for the senior team.
He has been chosen by Juninho Pernambucano, 44, who is coming back as sporting director at the club where he became a legend as a player between 2001 and 2009. Juninho has imposed Sylvinho on club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas, who typically decides on the next manager. Desperate for Juninho to come back to Lyon, Aulas gave him total control, even over the appointment of the next manager.

18.21 BST: It seems a certainty that Hakim Ziyech will be leaving Ajax this summer. "He leaves when a top club comes," Metro quotes Ajax director of football Marc Overmars as saying. "Many big clubs are buzzing around him. We promised Hakim [that we would] agree to a good transfer." Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are all said to be interested in the 26-year-old winger.

The Championship-bound Cottagers would prefer to hold on to the 24-year-old Serbian, but he prefers to remain in the Premier League next season, and a move to Merseyside could see him achieve just that.

14.58 BST: Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has backed some of the club's big characters to step up and fill the void left by Antoine Griezmann, who will leave in the summer.
The World Cup-winner's departure was announced in a video published on Twitter and Simeone said his other main players -- some also linked with moves away -- could become leaders.
"Important players go and leave holes to fill -- and I'm no doubt the likes of Rodrigo, Saul [Niguez], [Jose Maria] Gimenez, Koke, [Jan] Oblak will be those who fill them," Simeone said at a news conference.
14.31 BST: Mauro Icardi has hinted that he will stay at Inter Milan following rumours he was on the verge of joining Juventus.
"Seeing as media organisations have published news which don't reflect my feelings or desire, I have to inform our supporters that I have told the club over again that my intention is to remain at Inter," he wrote on Instagram.
"I understand the media's interest in selling false news but more than clearing up the news myself, I don't know what to do. I repeat: I have already expressed my desire to Inter of wanting to stay because Inter are my family. Time will show who has told the truth."

Midfielder Doucoure signed a five-year contract extension at Vicarage Road last summer but has made little secret of his desire to seek a fresh challenge.
"I would like to stay in the Premier League, I think it's the best league to express my qualities. It depends on offers, it depends on a lot of things. I'm very open," he told reporters ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City. "If something comes along all the better, otherwise I would be happy in a Watford shirt."

09:00 BST: Alvaro Morata has he wants to spend the rest of his career at Atletico Madrid, but added that he might still have to return to his parent club Chelsea sooner or later.
Spain international Morata, 26, joined Atletico on an 18-month loan deal in January, butChelsea may be able to recall him before that and his contract at Stamford Bridge runs until 2022.
"I don't know, that is about contracts, I just care about going onto the pitch to play," Morata said when asked about the situation on Thursday. "What is clear is I want to stay here at Atletico, and will do everything possible to keep playing here, for the rest of my career."
The situation is complicated by Chelsea appealing against a two window transfer ban imposed by FIFA, with their first choice centre-forward Gonzalo Higuain expected to return to Juventus when his loan ends next month.
08.30 BST: Benfica have increased their bid to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen to €15m, according to Portuguese outlet Record.
Barca reportedly turned down Benfica's initial offer of €12m for the keeper, but according to Record Benfica executives will travel to Barcelona to have a meeting to seal the deal. Cillessen, 30, has also been linked with Porto and Valencia.
08.00 BST: Portuguese side Sporting CP are preparing a bid for Club America's Colombia international Mateus Uribe, a source has told ESPN.
The bid, of around $10 million, is expected to come early next week for a player who has played 62 Liga MX games for Las Aguilas -- semifinalists in the Clausura playoffs -- and featured for Colombia at the last World Cup.
Sporting appear set to sell Portugal international Bruno Fernandes, with Manchester City and Manchester United linked to the 24-year-old, and Uribe is considered an ideal replacement.
PAPER TALK (by James Capps): Dortmund bet on Brandt
Bayer Leverkusen forward Julian Brandt has attracted attention from Tottenham and Liverpool, but the Champions League finalists might miss out on the Germany star.
Brandt is believed to be available for a release clause of £21.5 million, and Sky Sports reports that Borussia Dortmund might be favourites to nab him.
It also suggests that he could stay at Leverkusen should they get a result against Borussia Monchengladbach and qualify for the Champions League.
PSG's Alves wants to test Prem waters
Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves wants to hear from Premier League clubs before committing to stay at the Parc des Princes.
The 36-year-old Brazilian would prefer an offer from England, according to the Mail, and if not, a two-year deal from PSG.
The Ligue 1 champions, however, are said to be frustrated with the ex-Barcelona man and willing to offer only a one-year extension.
Alves previously attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United before signing for PSG in 2017, but it seems a long shot that any of the Premier League's big six would now come calling.
