22.40 BST: Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly identified a Thorgan Hazard replacement and he might have a last name you've heard of.

Marcus Thuram, son of France and Juventus legend Lillan, is the player being linked with Gladbach by German outlet Bild. The 21-year-old forward racked up 13 goals last season for Guingamp but the French side were ultimately relegated, intensifying speculation that Thuram will leave the club this summer.

A France Under-21 international, he would likely cost the German side around €8 million. Lyon and Arsenal are two other clubs who have been paired with the player in recent weeks.

22.06 BST: It sounds as if a Man City star is close to signing a contract extension to stay with the club.

The Mirror writes that right-back Kyle Walker is set to receive a significant pay rise on his £100,000-a-week wages as a show of faith from Pep Guardiola and the club. An up-and-down 2018-19 saw the 29-year-old make 52 appearances for Man City, with whom he has won five major trophies with in two season.

With Walker set to sign an extension, it remains to be seen as to whether this ends the club's interest in Juventus' Joao Cancelo.

21.41 BST: Last season Arsenal moved for Borussia Dortmund centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos and if a report in the Daily Mail is to be believed, this season Dortmund could pull a reversal and move for a veteran Arsenal defender.

The report claims that the Bundesliga runner-ups are closely monitoring Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny and could elect to bring in the 33-year-old. With the aging Koscielny entering the final year of his contract and Arsenal looking to get younger in defence, the Frenchman would likely be allowed to leave this summer if he so chose.

It is no secret that Dortmund are looking for defensive reinforcements to close the gap with rivals Bayern Munich, but is signing a 33-year-old a season removed from a serious Achilles injury, really the best idea?

21.03 BST: Another transfer boost for Man United?

Sky Sports News understands that Crystal Palace right-back and United target Aaron Wan-Bissaka favours a move to Old Trafford. The 21-year-old is at -- or near -- the top of United's summer wishlist, with the club having reportedly had a £40 million bid rejected for the player.

Palace reportedly will not consider anything less than £50m for the youngster who they value at £70m.

20.29 BST: Everton have been identified as the leaders in the race for an Ajax starlet.

UOL Esporte suggests that Everton are the favorites to sign Ajax and Brazil winger David Neres. The 22-year-old, who amassed 12 goals and 15 assists last campaign, has been heavily linked with both Tottenham and PSG but Everton are reportedly now leading the pack.

PSG have reportedly already met with Neres' representatives but have been notified of the player's preference of playing in English football. The winger, who will play for Brazil at the Copa America starting on Friday, is valued at around £40 million.

19.57 BST: Romelu Lukaku inching closer to a move to Inter Milan?

Gazzetta dello Sport, via the Mirror, claims the Belgian striker has agreed to personal terms with the Italian club, which could see him earn as much as £6 million in bonuses. United are looking for £70 million from Inter for Lukaku, who earlier this week called Antonio Conte "the best manager in the world."

Lukaku, who scored two goals in midweek for Belgium against Scotland, is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after losing his starting place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

19.16 BST: Ramires, remember him? The ex-Chelsea man has signed a contract to return to his native Brazil with Palmeiras.

Now 32, Ramires has played the last three season in China with Jiangsu Suning after signing from Chelsea for £25 million in January of 2016.

18.25 BST: Aston Villa have got their man. The newly-promoted side have smashed their club transfer record in signing Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes, subject to work permit and international clearance.

The 22-year-old tallied 17 goals and 10 assists last season for Brugge, catching the eye with two goals in the Champions League. The Brazilian joins Jota and Anwar El Ghazi as summer signings made so far by the Birmingham side.

17.44 BST: In a wild twist of events, Adrien Rabiot could be handed a lifeline to stay at PSG, sources have told ESPN FC. The 24-year-old, who has been frozen out at PSG since December, now reportedly could stay if sporting director Antero Henrique departs the club as expected.

A bright talent, Rabiot found himself in the doghouse at Parc des Princes last season after a series of clashes with the club's coaching staff and questions surrounding his maturity, and had been expected to leave the club this summer on a free transfer. But with Leonardo returning to the club, the door could now be open for Rabiot to stay and sign a new contract extension with the French champions.

17.17 BST: Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Cadena SER are reporting that Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde is open to letting the Croatian leave this summer if a suitable bid comes in. The Catalan club are reporting looking for something in the neighborhood of £50 million for the 31-year-old World Cup runner-up.

Rakitic has long been a target for the Red Devils, with Jose Mourinho having previously made an attempt to sign him.

16.40 BST: Midfielder Matty Willock, one of a number of players released by Manchester United this month, has made a move to League One club Gillingham.

15.25 BST: If reports in Belgium are right, Aston Villa are poised to break their transfer record with a £22m move for Brugge striker Wesley Moraes.

13.57 BST: West Ham are on the brink of wrapping up a £24m move for Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals, according to reports, with a new striker the next player on the club's wishlist.

13.24 BST: Reports in France have suggested that Liverpool could resurrect last summer's move for Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir, which fell through at the 11th hour -- but the Independent says that won't be happening, reporting that "the club's stance has not changed since the player failed his medical and the deal was declared dead."

13.05 BST: Southampton have reached agreement to sign winger Moussa Djenepo from Belgian club Standard Liege. The 20-year-old Mali international, manager Ralph Hasenhuttl's first signing as Saints boss, will join them on July 1.

12.33 BST: Manchester United are continuing their pursuit of England defender Harry Maguire despite being reluctant to meet Leicester's £80 million price tag, sources have told ESPN FC.

Maguire, along with Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, is wanted by United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as part of a defensive revamp.

11.20 BST: Arsenal are on the verge of a move for Dynamo Dresden goalkeeper Markus Schubert, according to the Independent, which says he will join the Gunners on a free transfer. The 21-year-old is then likely to be loaned out next season and could join a Championship club.

10.49 BST: Matthijs de Ligt should join Barcelona or Manchester City rather than moving to French champions Paris Saint-Germain when he leaves Ajax, Ronald de Boer has said.

10.29 BST: Wolves could make a move for Burnley's England centre-back James Tarkowski, the Birmingham Mail reports, saying the 26-year-old "has caught the attention of Molineux officials."

10.08 BST: Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs chasing Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard, Bild reports, as they look to replace Julian Brandt. "He's an interesting player for us," Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes said. Madrid are reported not to want to sell Norway international Odegaard, but send him on another loan.

09.41 BST: PSG right-back Thomas Meunier has been speaking about his future to RTBF and said: "I will repeat myself again: my ambition is to stay in Paris. If they want me, that will be even better -- we will be hand in hand. If they do not want me, then we will find a solution."

Meunier has been linked with Arsenal and Man United in recent weeks.

09.09 BST: Sheffield United are hoping to land Bayern Munich legend Franck Ribery on a free transfer. The 36-year-old reportedly does not want to leave Europe and is not interested in moving to either Australia or Qatar.

According to kicker, Ribery has been identified as a potential star signing for the Blades, who return to Premier League next season. However, the former France international has yet to make up his mind and continues to wait for offers from bigger clubs.

08.46 BST: Brazilian forward Rodrygo bade farewell to Santos fans in Wednesday's 1-0 league win over Corinthians.

The 18-year-old, who will join Real Madrid this summer, could not hold back the tears -- though he did not feature against Corinthians he was given a send-off worthy of a star during half-time.

Rodrygo told Santos FC TV: "I have mixed feelings as I'm leaving the place where I've been since I was 10 but, at the same time, I feel good because I leave knowing I've done a good job here. Who knows, perhaps one day I will return."

As for his next chapter at Madrid, he said: "Of course it motivates me to be at one of the biggest clubs in the world. That can also scare you but that fear is good because it motivates you even more. I want to prove why this club believed in me and signed me."

08.25 BST: Pep Guardiola will not be taking a sabbatical at Manchester City, sources have told ESPN.

Guardiola later refuted the suggestions at a golf tournament in Spain where he said: "The news comes out, is repeated and is not checked. I have two years of contract and, if they do not kick me out, I will continue."

08.00 BST: Denis Suarez has declared his intention to leave Barcelona this summer but hopes to remain in La Liga.

Suarez played eight games for Barca before being sent on loan to Arsenal in January, but injuries limited the 25-year-old to just six appearances for the Gunners.

A reported target for Valencia, Suarez, who is tied to Barca until June 2021, told Cadena Ser radio: "What I want is to leave Barca and play. My aim is to stay in La Liga. I've been two months in Barcelona recovering from an injury and no one at Barca has told me anything. Barca is trying to find a place for me. I want to play and I hope they can resolve it as soon as possible. My agent is talking to executives. I would like them to be clear. I'm not going to do anything to leave Barca on bad terms. If it didn't work out, I will try elsewhere."

Milan told to pay up for Lovren

Liverpool will demand £25m for Dejan Lovren amid rumours that AC Milan are hoping to sign the Croatia centre-back, the Mail reports.

Lovren will turn 30 next month and his contract runs until 2021, hence the somewhat low figure for a Champions League winner.

Milan have not yet acted on their interest, but with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk the first-choice centre-back pairing at Anfield, the Rossoneri might stand a good chance of acquiring Lovren.

Napoli must be sharp for Ospina signing

Napoli will have to make a decision on whether to sign Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina by the end of the week, according to the Sun.

Ospina spent the season on loan at the Serie A club, who will be charged £3.1m should they buy him outright.

A clause in the loan deal meant that, had Ospina played 25 games last season, they would have been obliged to buy him, but he played 24 and Napoli now have until Saturday to make up their minds.

Ospina has only one year left on his contract at Arsenal, so Napoli could target him for £2m, the report says.

- Calciomercato suggests that Edin Dzeko has shown signs of progressing a move to Inter Milan after the Roma forward liked a comment of blue and black hearts left on a recent Instagram post.

- Barcelona are interested in 17-year-old Watford midfielder Joao Pedro, according to Sport. The Fluminese academy graduate, tipped to become one of Brazil's next star players, is also interesting Manchester United and Liverpool.
