          TOP STORY: Manchester United keen on Aubameyang?

          With a source telling ESPN that Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku is looking for an exit this summer, the club are clearly on the lookout for a new striker as a replacement.

          Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi could be included in a swap deal with Lukaku, while Juventus' Paulo Dybala is also attracting attention. However, one name has emerged which is a bit of a shock: Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

          TalkSPORT have been told that Aubameyang, who finished joint top goalscorer in last season's Premier League, has moved to the top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's list and United are willing to part with £70m in order to bring the striker in.

          Of course United signed Robin van Persie from Arsenal at a similar age and his goals won them the 2013 title in his first season. So perhaps history will repeat itself?

          22.58 BST: We're going to close Wednesday's live edition of Transfer Talk with a couple of updates on Manchester United being unsuccessful in their summer recruitment. Sky Sports reports that the Red Devils have been told that Declan Rice is not for sale, while Metro adds that the Hammers are readying a new contract to keep Issa Diop from swapping East London for Old Trafford.

          22.11 BST: Atletico Madrid right-back Juanfran is wanted by MLS expansion franchise Nashville SC as well as Brazilian teams Corinthians and Sao Paulo, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

          21.24 BST: Sport cites Le Parisien as reporting that Paris Saint-Germain will set the price for Neymar at €300m, making any deal exceedingly complicated and an offer that would see multiple players move to the French capital in addition to a significant cash outlay as the most likely outcome.

          20.37 BST: Juventus have joined Napoli in having interest in Real Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez, writes AS, which adds that Los Blancos will not sell for less than the €30m they paid for the 21-year-old in 2017.

          19.50 BST: Paul Pogba fears that Manchester United's £160m valuation will price him out of a move to Real Madrid this summer, the Telegraph reports.

          19.03 BST: Manchester United have agreed a £55m fee with Crystal Palace for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to the Daily Record, making the England U21 international the most expensive full-back in world football.

          18.16 BST: Barcelona have summoned the agent of Ousmane Dembele to Catalonia to discuss the 22-year-old's future, according to Mundo Deportivo, with Dembele -- and Philippe Coutinho -- potentially being offloaded this summer to raise funds for the possible signings of Antoine Griezmann and Neymar. The report suggests that Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool could be two destinations for the France international attacker.

          17.29 BST: Juan Mata has signed a new contract with Manchester United, the club have confirmed. The midfielder, who would have been available on a free transfer from June 30, has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2021 with the option of another year.           16.42 BST: Arsenal are looking for a new left-back and Celtic's Kieran Tierney fits the bill, says the Daily Mail.

          Fellow Scottish left-back Andy Robertson has worked wonders at Liverpool and the Gunners are hoping that the 22-year-old will do the same for them, all while costing just £20m.

          15.57 BST: Aurelio De Laurentiis is always good value, and the Napoli owner had some things to say about recent transfer developments to Radio KissKiss.

          On signing James Rodriguez from Real Madrid: "James is Carlo Ancelotti's idea. I'm not sure exactly how he fits into our style, but you cannot doubt his talent and professionalism. At a certain point, you need to give the manager the responsibility -- he really wants him and knows what he will bring. He knows exactly how useful he can become and I won't bat an eyelid -- even if he is very expensive, we will carry on. If we cannot get James Rodriguez, a deal which we are negotiation with our friend Jorge Mendes, we will turn to Mino Raiola to discuss Hirving Lozano."

          On Raul Albiol: "He has told us he does not want to stay at Napoli. We won't make anyone stay. He's 34 and we're only talking to him out of gratitude. If he wants to leave, he would be doing me a favour."

          On signing Roma defender Kostas Manolas: "We need to replace him [Albiol] and Manolas could be a replacement. But there are various problems: character issues, he is a player who causes a few problems. We are looking for a the right price given his age."

          15.49 BST: Looks like JT won't be joining Frank Lampard at Chelsea...

          15.25 BST: Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Manchester United are looking at Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj.

          Hysaj can play on either side of the defence and has said he wants to quit the Serie A club this season. Napoli have been linked with Spurs right-back Kieran Trippier as a replacement, but could face competition from Juventus too.

          14.53 BST: Everton and Croatia midfielder Nikola Vlasic (no, us neither) is set to sign for CSKA Moscow.

          Vlasic, 21, scored eight goals in 31 matches on loan at CSKA last season and is now about to move for a reported £14m, say the BBC. He moved to Everton in 2017 but has barely played for the team.

          14.29 BST: New (old) PSG sporting director Leonardo wants to renew Edinson Cavani's contract, according to UOL Esporte.

          Cavani, 32, has a deal which ends in 2020 and has been linked with a move away from the club. However, it appears he's set to stay for a bit longer.

          14.04 BST: Ferland Mendy is being unveiled as a Real Madrid player after making a €55m move from Lyon.

          The left-back was asked about the challenges he has overcome and said: "When I was 15, I had hip surgery. I was told I wouldn't play football again. I spent some time in a wheel chair, six or seven months in the hospital for learn to walk again and now I'm at Real Madrid. It's really incredible. Real Madrid can teach me a lot about football and about life. "I want to win as many titles together with Madrid."

          Asked about how pivotal was coach Zinedine Zidane in his decision to come to Madrid, he said: "It's important that the coach is Zinedine Zidane. It's going to help me and will ease my adaptation because he speaks French.It's an honour to share the changing room with a legend like Zidane. It's truly special to work with Zidane."

          And, asked if he would like his France teammates Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba to come to Madrid, the 24-year-old said: "Why not, they are players with great quality. I haven't spoken to them about Real Madrid."

          14.00 BST: Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has signed a new contract until 2024.

          The England international had three years remaining on his contract but has been rewarded with a new deal after helping the club to back-to-back Premier League titles.

          "It was an easy decision," he said. "I want to be competing for trophies, playing at the highest level, and I feel I have improved hugely as a player during my time here."

          Walker, 29, is Pep Guardiola's first-choice at right-back but could face more competition if Danilo leaves the club and City sign a more senior replacement with Juventus full-back Joao Cancelo a potential target.

          13.49 BST: And there's confirmation on Hummels.

          13.29 BST: France Football are reporting that PSG are interested in Juventus winger Douglas Costa again, but the player himself has been speaking to Goal.

          He said: "I have three years left on my contract so I'm focused on staying. With [Maurizio] Sarri here [as new coach], we'll do great things."

          13.11 BST: Kicker reports that an agreement over a €38m deal for defender Mats Hummels to rejoin Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich has been reached.

          13.01 BST: Manchester City need to replace Vincent Kompany; Manchester City have lots of money. Therefore it's not a huge shock to see Gazzetta dello Sport report that the club have made an £85m bid for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

          Man United and City have gone head-to-head for a new defender this summer with Koulibaly and Leicester City's Harry Maguire of interest. But a massive bid like that should be enough to do the trick, if it turns out to be true.

          12.46 BST: Crystal Palace are growing frustrated with Manchester United as talks continue over the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, sources have told ESPN FC.

          United have seen two bids for the defender, who scored an own goal for England's Under-21s during their 2-1 defeat to France on Tuesday, rejected because Palace are seeking more cash up front.

          12.21 BST: Cadena COPE report that there is a real possibility that Antoine Griezmann will end up at PSG, especially given the news that ESPN brought you about Neymar yesterday.

          Neymar to Barcelona > Griezmann to PSG seems to work well for both clubs.

          11.52 BST: Matthijs de Ligt has reportedly already told Barcelona that he won't join them, say El Larguero.

          That leaves PSG in pole position, but Mark Ogden has a rundown of all the possible destinations for the 19-year-old defender.

          11.31 BST: Sampdoria centre-back Joachim Andersen is back on the radar of Tottenham as Toby Alderweireld's future continues to be unresolved.

          Alderweireld is available for £25m this summer, with Manchester United linked, but Spurs have lined up the 23-year-old Andersen to replace him if he does depart, according to the Evening Standard.

          11.02 BST: Manchester City are set to sell young midfielder Manu Garcia this summer with a number of clubs in Spain interested in him, sources have told ESPN FC.

          The 21-year-old Spaniard, who is in the final year of his contract, spent last season on loan at French club Toulouse helping them to narrowly avoid relegation. Garcia, who made four first-team appearances for City under former boss Manuel Pellegrini, has ruled out a return to Ligue 1 and is weighing up offers from Italy as well as Spain.

          10.37 BST: Lyon star Nabil Fekir want to leave, with Liverpool linked with another move for the midfielder.

          Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas told the official club website : "His preference is towards a departure. We are open to discussions. We have no news. We are waiting for proposals in the coming days but for the moment we do not have any."

          Fekir, 25, almost signed for Liverpool last summer but a £53m move broke down. Now he's into the final year of his contract, he may come a bit cheaper if the two clubs can come to an agreement.

          10.03 BST: Kylian Mbappe says he doesn't know what his future holds but admits he could play in Major League Soccer later in his career.

          The Paris Saint-Germain forward scored 33 league goals in 29 appearances for the French champions in the 2018-19 campaign and is currently on holiday in the United States.

          In an excerpt from an interview with the ESPN Mexico show "Ahora o Nunca," Mbappe, 20, said: "We don't know what happens in football. A lot of great players come (to play) in the United States after their careers in Europe, like Zlatan (Ibrahimovic), Steven Gerrard, (Frank) Lampard, (Andrea) Pirlo, great players, so you don't know. Maybe when I'm a bit older I can think about this."

          09.41 BST: Manchester City are set to complete a deal for PSV Eindhoven left back Angelino in the coming days with the Spaniard in England to agree a return to the Etihad Stadium, sources have told ESPN FC.

          Angelino, 22, joined the Dutch side last summer with City inserting a £5.35m buyback clause. After an impressive season in the Eredivisie, City are now set to trigger that clause with the defender set to offer competition to Oleksandr Zinchenko and Benjamin Mendy.

          09.22 BST: Real Madrid are hoping to coax Tottenham into selling star playmaker Christian Eriksen by offering midfielder Dani Ceballos in a player-plus-cash deal, according to The Sun.

          Eriksen named Madrid as a potential destination when he revealed that it may be time to "try something new" in the wake of Spurs' Champions League final defeat.

          So far, Tottenham have been resistant to the idea of him leaving but The Sun reports that Madrid will offer 22-year-old Ceballos, who is rated highly by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, and £45m in order to sign the Denmark international.

          08.59 BST: Andre Gomes and Jasper Cillessen are both set to complete moves away from Barcelona before the end of the week, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

          Gomes, 25, will remain at Everton, where he spent last season on loan. The Premier League club have agreed a fee somewhere between €25 million and €30m with Barca and now just have to finalise the terms of the Portuguese midfielder's contract.

          West Ham had also shown an interest in Gomes, but his preference was always to remain at Goodison Park, where he made 29 appearances last year.

          Netherlands goalkeeper Cillessen, meanwhile, will remain in Spain with Valencia. He will join the Copa del Rey winners in search of regular football ahead of next summer's European Championships, with Brazilian stopper Neto moving in the other direction as part of a player exchange deal.

          08.31 BST: Paris Saint-Germain are open to selling Neymar this summer, sources have told ESPN FC, although the Ligue 1 champions have yet to receive any formal offers for the Brazilian.

          A potential move would come two years after Neymar joined the capital club from Barcelona for a record transfer fee of €222m.

          A source said that PSG expects an offer from either Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Manchester United. Noted football agent Pini Zahavi is involved in the process.

          Sources close to Barcelona told ESPN FC on Monday that the Catalan giants think a deal "could be doable, but it won't be simple."

          08.00 BST: Atletico Madrid could announce the signing of Portuguese wonderkid Joao Felix today, according to widespread reports in Spain.

          Asked if Benfica starlet Felix -- dubbed "the new Ronaldo" by media in his homeland -- be will be Antoine Griezmann's replacement, Atletico coach Diego Simeone told Fox Sports Argentina: "We are working on it, he is one of the options. Atletico has historically bought players to develop them, like Jan Oblak, Jose Gimenez, Griezmann. We want a talented youngster that can absorb our ideas."

          Asked if Atletico are interested in Betis midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso, Simeone said: "I like all the footballers that play well but I don't think Betis will let him leave because he's had a great season. In any case, we are covered in midfield but we shall see."

          When asked if reported Manchester City target Rodrigo Hernandez will leave, after sources told ESPN FC that the Spain international wants to join the Premier League champions, Simeone said: "We don't know yet."

          Options running out for De Gea

          Will David De Gea leave Manchester United? It's a question that surfaces annually, and every August he trots out at Old Trafford.

          Last year, Spain was his likely destination, and this summer it seemed he was destined to be heading to Paris. Now, with just a year left on his United contract, it's looking increasingly likely that he won't be playing his football anywhere other than Manchester United when the season kicks off in August.

          The Sun reports that newly appointed sporting director Leonardo is intent on recruiting Gianluigi Donnarumma as Paris Saint-Germain's No. 1, leaving De Gea with nowhere to go. Again.

          The Italian, who is currently at AC Milan, is the youngest goalkeeper to ever debut for Italy and, at the age of 20, PSG believe he very much represents the future.

          De Gea, meanwhile, is closing in on 30 -- which makes him the opposite. Although that won't stop the speculation swirling as he enters the final year of his deal at Old Trafford.

          Barca fail in De Ligt pursuit

          Ajax's prodigiously gifted skipper Matthijs de Ligt is set to turn his back on a switch to Barcelona, Marca quotes Cadena SER as reporting.

          Cadena SER programme "El Larguero" has reported that the Dutch star will walk away from a move to the Camp Nou, despite the two clubs agreeing a €75 million deal for a defender just about every team in Europe would like to sign before the summer is out.

          De Ligt was sensational as Ajax reached the semifinals of the Champions League and was similarly impressive in the Nations League as the Dutch dispatched England 2-1 in the semifinals of that tournament earlier this month.

          "El Larguero" claims that Mino Raiola, the player's agent, has played a key role in him rejecting Barcelona's advances. All of which represents pretty seismic news in a transfer window in which De Ligt has loomed large.

          So where will he end up? Watch this space.

          Madrid tempt Spurs with Ceballos

          Tottenham might want him to remain at their swanky new home, but Real Madrid are still pulling out all the stops to tempt Christian Eriksen to the Bernabeu. So says the Sun, which reports that the Spanish giants are prepared to hand Spurs £45m to take Eriksen to the capital -- and will throw in Dani Ceballos as a sweetener.

          Eriksen's future has been the subject of intense speculation for almost 12 months, and Zinedine Zidane has added the Tottenham midfielder to a shopping list that is the envy of Europe. Zidane has already succeeded in bringing Eden Hazard from Chelsea, but he has no intention of stopping there as he looks to reverse his club's slump in fortunes.

          Ceballos, meanwhile, has told Zidane that he wants to leave the club sooner rather than later after finding it difficult to break into Los Blancos' first team. And that won't be what any Spurs fan wants to hear.

          - Phil Jones could be frozen out at Manchester United. The Sun writes that Jones was offered to West Ham as part of the club's attempts to snap up Issa Diop from the Hammers. The East Londoners apparently had no interest in signing Jones, which doesn't bode well for his future at Old Trafford, despite the centre-back signing a new deal in February that keeps him at the club until 2023.
