Former Chelsea player Adrian Mutu has hit out at Blues manager Jose Mourinho, calling him a "fake" who is "finished" as a coach. Mourinho is enduring a season to forget, with Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth leaving his side 14th in the Premier League table and just two points clear of the relegation zone. Some reports have suggested that the Portuguese could be sacked if Chelsea lose their decisive Champions League game to Porto on Wednesday, and Mutu feels his time is now up. The former Romania international worked under Mourinho for a short spell during his time at Stamford Bridge between 2003 and 2004. "He has been a great coach in the past, but as a person, he is fake," Mutu, currently with Indian Super League club Pune City, is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror. "He only looks after himself, and has no consideration for how his players are feeling and thinking. You could not go and talk to him. "As a coach, he is finished. There is no way back for him. How do you come back from something like this [current form]?" Mutu's time at Chelsea came to an end after he failed a drugs test in September 2004, with the club then opting to terminate his contract. Before that, he had already clashed with Mourinho following a decision to defy his manager's wishes and travel to the Czech Republic for a 2006 World Cup qualifier with Romania, despite the Blues boss believing him to be injured. "You can see now how many of his players look unhappy. Why? He is the reason," Mutu added. "He cannot talk to players like they should be spoken to. "The first thing he does is he goes to the biggest player in his team, and tries to make him angry. "No matter who it was, John Terry, Frank Lampard, it is just what he does for fun. That was just his way of doing things, and he won't change for anyone."
