Champions-in-waiting Bayern Munich will have to wait another week to seal their sixth Bundesliga title in succession after slipping to their third away loss of the season, going down 2-1 to Leipzig. Sandro Wagner headed the Bavarians into the lead on 12 minutes, before future Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita equalised before the break and Timo Werner fired a deserved winner on 56 minutes.
Positives
Despite the tame defeat, Bayern will have an opportunity to seal a sixth title in a row in front of their adoring home fans at the Allianz Arena. Clinching the title with a win at Allianz would be a first. Back in 2000, Bayern last clinched the title at home at the Olympic Stadium.
Negatives
A lethargic performance brought a deserved defeat against a more-energetic and fired-up Leipzig side.

GK Sven Ulreich, 8 -- Produced fine saves in each half to keep Bayern in the game. It will be extremely tough on Bayern's backup keeper to make way for Manuel Neuer in the Champions League's latter stages. Who'd have said that in September?
DF David Alaba, 6 -- Reasonably sound in defence but the Austrian couldn't provide any of his usual attacking impetus, suffering a first Bundesliga defeat of the season in his 21st appearance.
DF Niklas Sule, 6 -- Cleared spectacularly off the line in the first half after replacing Jerome Boateng at the heart of central defence for his 21st Bundesliga appearance. In his impressive first season, he has now registered more appearances than either of the 2014 World Cup winning duo of Hummels and Boateng. Picked up a yellow card for a foul on Keita as Bayern came under the cosh.
DF Mats Hummels, 6 -- Had his problems dealing with the pace of Werner but did bring out the best in Leipzig keeper Peter Gulacsi on the hour mark with a fierce shot.
DF Joshua Kimmich, 5 -- Rested in midweek in Turkey but enjoyed a mixed bag -- some nervous defending allied with the usual expert crossing against his former employer, where he played 55 times in the second and third divisions.
MF Sebastian Rudy, 4 -- At fault for Leipzig's goal with a poor clearance and showed his frustration minutes later with a shirt tug on Werner that drew a yellow card. Fortunate to play the full 90 minutes if truth be told.
MF Juan Bernat, 4 -- The game passed him by as he hardly touched the ball and was hooked on the hour with Bayern chasing the game.
MF Arturo Vidal, 6 -- The combative Chilean toiled industriously and headed over a precise Kimmich cross as Bayern tried in vain for an equaliser.
MF James Rodriguez, 7 -- Bayern's signing of the season set up the opener with an inch-perfect cross and was the best of a bang average outfield bunch after making his comeback in Turkey in midweek following three weeks out with a nagging calf injury.
MF Thomas Muller, 5 -- Largely anonymous throughout, seemingly in need of the international break.
FW Sandro Wagner, 6 -- Headed Bayern ahead with their first chance of the game on 12 minutes, notching his fourth league goal on only his fourth start -- not a bad rate for a backup striker. Put himself about as the usual nuisance factor, but little of the class of Robert Lewandowski.
Substitutes
MF Franck Ribery, 5 -- Bayern's longest serving player only caught the eye when booked for a contretemps with Keita within two minutes of his introduction as a substitute.
FW Robert Lewandowski, NR -- Replaced the tiring James for his fourth league substitute appearance of the season, failing to score for a third time. Still enough time to pick up a caution for a foul on Emil Forsberg as tempers frayed.
DF Rafinha, NR -- Replaced Kimmich for the final 11 minutes to absolutely no avail.
