Aaron Lennon returns to Everton training after treatment for stress

Aaron Lennon has returned to Everton for preseason training after reportedly being detained under the Mental Health Act in May.

Former England winger Lennon was among the players pictured in a gallery of photographs of the squad returning after the summer break posted on the club's official website.

At the time of the 30-year-old's detention under the Act, an Everton statement said he was "receiving care and treatment for a stress-related illness."

Lennon, a former Leeds and Tottenham player, last played for Ronald Koeman's side in February.
