Hull striker Abel Hernandez will be suspended for the start of next season after receiving a three-match ban for a punch on Manchester United's Phil Jones which was caught on camera.
The Uruguayan admitted an act of violent conduct, which was not seen by the match officials during the Tigers' goalless draw on Sunday which resulted in them being relegated from the Premier League.
He was charged after television replays showed him delivering a blow to the midriff of the United defender.
"Hull City's Abel Hernandez has been handed a three-match suspension, which must be served at the start of next season," said a statement from the Football Association.
Following Hull's relegation speculation has already linked Hernandez with a move away from the club.
