New Napoli signing Allan has targeted a place in the Brazil team after completing his move from Udinese.

Allan, 24, said he wanted to emulate Dunga -- now the Brazil coach, who also played in Italy -- and told La Repubblica: "Dunga is my role model.

"Maybe I can convince him [to pick me]. He's the kind of player who never held back and that is what I want to be remembered for too.

"I want to be the Azzurri warrior -- I'd love to earn that nickname."

Midfielder Allan said he had opted to move to Napoli in order to achieve his ambition of playing in the Champions League, adding: "This is the right place for me to realise that dream.

"Being at a club like this is the best thing any footballer could want. I chose Napoli because they really wanted me. I want to write my name in this club's history, like other great Brazilians.

"I'm really enthusiastic about being close to so many top players. Our aim will be to finish as high as we can in the standings.

"I love Italian football and, here at Napoli, I can get the help I need to return to the national team."
