West Bromwich Albion's Scotland international midfielder Graham Dorrans has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract at The Hawthorns.

The Baggies, who struggled last season before securing Premier League safety late on, announced that the 27-year-old, who joined them six years ago, had confirmed new terms that keep him at the club until 2017.

"I'm happy to get my new contract finalised," Dorrans told the club's official website. "We've been in talks for a couple of months and I'm glad to get it over the line. I'd like to thank my agent and the club.

"It's been a good six years -- that's the reason why I've signed the extension. I'm looking forward to getting going now for the new season."

Since joining from Livingston, Dorrans has made a total of 167 appearances for Albion in all competitions, scoring 25 goals.

"I'm aiming to get into the team at the start of this season and stay in the team for the rest of the campaign," he added.
