Algeria have called up uncapped Metz player Ahmed Kashi and recalled full-back Liassine Cadamuro to their African Nations Cup finals squad after injuries to Essaid Belkalem and Mehdi Abeid.

The Algerian Football Federation confirmed the changes, which see Cadamuro, who plays for Spanish club Osasuna, back in the picture after having been part of the World Cup squad in Brazil.

Algeria, Africa's highest-ranked nation, have been drawn in a tough Group C with Ghana, Senegal and South Africa at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea, which begins later this month.
