Oribe Peralta, Moises Munoz miss out on Mexico's March friendly squad

Oribe Peralta, Mexico's starting striker in Brazil in 2014, will not be involved in El Tri's upcoming friendlies against Ecuador on March 28 in Los Angeles, and Paraguay on March 31 in Kansas City, while club teammate and goalkeeper Moises Munoz is also out of the call-up.

Both missed Las Aguilas' 3-0 loss in the CONCACAF Champions League away at Costa Rica's Herediano on Tuesday with injuries and underwent tests at a Mexico City hospital on Wednesday, although there has been no official word as yet on how long they will be out of action.

Cruz Azul goalkeeper Jesus Corona and Leon midfielder Jose Juan "Gallito" Vazquez have returned to the squad for the friendlies, while Tigres' Jesus Duenas, Pachuca's Jurgen Damm and Pumas UNAM's Eduardo Herrera are all on the list for the first time.

Eleven of the 25-player squad is based in Europe, although captain and Hellas Verona defender Rafa Marquez will not join the team after having originally been selected, due to an injury to his left knee.
