Manchester United striker Anthony Martial warns of tough night in Ukraine

Anthony Martial has said Manchester United must adapt to "really cold" weather when they travel to Ukraine to face Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League on Thursday.

A draw will be enough to take United through to the round of 32, while Zorya -- who lost 1-0 at Old Trafford in September -- are certain to finish bottom of the group.

Odessa, rather than Luhansk, is the host city because of conflict in Ukraine.

And with temperatures close to freezing, Martial told MUTV: "It is very different -- not just the supporters but the weather. Over there, it's really cold at this time of the season.

"But it's down to us to come to terms with that, adapt to the environment we find ourselves in and get the victory we need.

"It's how you approach things mentally. It's about what happens on the pitch -- if you do your stuff out there, that's what counts."

In the first meeting between the teams in the group, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's 69th-minute header was all that United had to show for a dominant home display.

But Martial said he expected "a difficult encounter" at the Chornomorets Stadium.

The Frenchman said: "Things went quite well for us in the home game, but it'll be different over there.

"They'll be in front of their own supporters and will be determined to make life difficult, so we'll be on our guard."
