PUEBLA, Puebla -- Liga MX's Week 15 finished with a thriller at Estadio Cuauhtemoc, where Puebla came back from 2-0 down to draw Leon 2-2. Monterrey and Tigres also played out a draw in this season's Clasico Regio to cap the round.

2. With La Volpe, America maintains its unbeaten streak in Liga MX
"We don't save seasons by winning clasicos; we save seasons by winning championships," said Club America owner Emilio Azcarraga Jean to newspaper La Aficion on Saturday morning as he watched the Formula 1 race in Mexico's capital.
After America's 3-1 win over Santos Laguna at Estadio Azteca on Saturday, one of the team's captains, Moises Munoz, added: "The thing that will keep our fans, our board of directors and ourselves content is winning the league.
"It's not about winning one or two important games; it's about winning the title. I care more about winning a title than winning a clasico."
Las Aguilas' display against Santos, one of the weakest sides in the 2016 Apertura, was not extraordinary. Silvio Romero -- who is frequently getting the start over Mexico international striker Oribe Peralta -- scored a penalty, but he missed several clear opportunities to add to America's lead.
At the postgame news conference, manager Ricardo La Volpe made it known that in his America there will usually be one striker up top. Unfortunately, neither Romero nor Peralta are going through hot scoring streaks. Instead, it's Michael "Miky" Arroyo who has found form after scoring his fifth goal in as many games on Saturday night.

After five games in charge of America in Liga MX, La Volpe's team has yet to lose a single match and has walked away with the win in all of its home games. The next game that takes place at Azteca will be a Liguilla game, and the opponent could once again be Chivas, the arch-rival that's ruining America's centennial celebrations.
3. Puebla and Leon offer spectacle
At half-time of its meeting with Puebla at Estadio Cuauhtemoc, Leon held a comfortable 2-0 lead. Mauro Boselli and German Cano scored off Leon's best opportunities at goal in the first 45 minutes to put Los Esmeraldas ahead. Although Puebla had created more chances, Leon's sharpness in front of goal allowed it to get ahead.
"The result does feel like a loss because we were executing the game plan correctly. Unfortunately at the end of the match, we lost control, and Puebla scored twice," Leon midfielder Leonel Lopez told ESPN FC after the match.
Leon manager Javier Torrente added: "Puebla was the better team in the second half. If we had scored the third goal, we would have killed the game."
Alvaro Navarro and Matias Alustiza's goals leveled things up in Puebla. However, Torrente's unbeaten record as Leon head coach continues. Next up for Leon will be Chivas at Estadio Leon.
4. Monterrey's "Fantastic Four" fail to show up for Apertura
It can be said that in the Apertura, Monterrey's "Fantastic Four" of Carlos Sanchez, Rogelio Funes Mori, Dorlan Pabon and Edwin Cardona was incomplete for many reasons. Injuries have been common with Funes Mori, while Cardona has been a shadow of himself after taking part in the Copa America Centenario with Colombia.
Last season, the four footballers tallied 34 goals in total. This season, that number is down to 16. Cardona will likely end the campaign with zero goals in his count, while Sanchez -- who scored nine times last season, --has only been able to strike twice in the Apertura.
In the last Clasico Regio, Cardona wasn't even included on the matchday roster. Like Cardona, the "Fantastic Four" simply haven't hown up for the Apertura.
5. Queretaro and Chivas head into Copa MX final in good form
Before Saturday's 2-1 win over Chiapas, Queretaro hadn't won a single league game away from its Estadio Corregidora. Los Gallos Blancos had high expectations going into the Liga MX season, and they will intend to close out the year in style by winning their first ever official title, the Copa MX.
The final, scheduled to be played next Wednesday in Queretaro, will see Queretaro host Chivas, who will be looking to win their fourth cup. With Matias Almeyda as head coach, El Rebano Sagrado won the competition in the 2015 Apertura.
After falling to Pachuca 2-1 last weekend, Chivas returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Cruz Azul thanks to a last-minute penalty by Alan Pulido.
In the match against Los Cementeros, the three goals were scored by strikers Pulido, Angel Zaldivar and Marco Bueno. It's likely that Wednesday's final will see Almeyda will use the same XI he deployed against America at Estadio Azteca, which included seven footballers who have not been regular league starters.
