Tottenham's Michel Vorm, Feyenoord's Tonny Vilhena join Nethelands squad

Netherlands manager Danny Blind has brought in Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm and Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena to join his squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier against France on Monday.

Vorm was added after Barcelona keeper Jasper Cillessen, who did not even make the bench in Friday's 4-1 win against Belarus, suffered an ankle injury in training on Saturday.

Vilhena, 21, may be needed because Wesley Sneijder suffered a hamstring injury against Belarus.

"Coach Danny Blind has added Tonny Vilhena to the squad of the Dutch team on Saturday, a KNVB statement said. "The call-up of the Feyenoord midfielder is related to the hamstring injury suffered by Wesley Sneijder.

"The addition of Vilhena, who on Saturday afternoon will report to the squad in Amsterdam, takes the squad up to 24 players."

Netherlands are France are level on four points after two qualifiers in Group A ahead of their meeting at the Amsterdam Arena.
