Hull boss Bruce keen on Graham

Hull manager Steve Bruce has said he is interested in signing Sunderland’s Danny Graham as he continues his striker search.

Graham, 27, joined the Black Cats for £5 million six months ago, but has failed to score for them in 13 first-team appearances.

But Bruce is considering trying to take him to the KC Stadium, with a season-long loan to the newly promoted Tigers mooted.

"There's lots and lots of players and it's always wrong for me to talk about them, but Graham is someone where there's been a bit of interest," he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"He hasn't had the best of times in the north-east, but he's a very, very good player. Whether it's possible, who knows? It's something that we're looking at, but we haven't done anything just yet."

Former Middlesbrough, Carlisle and Watford striker Graham had a productive 18 months at Swansea before joining Sunderland.

Bruce is also interested in Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner, who has also played for Sunderland, but fears his wage demands could prove prohibitive.
