Oscar Trejo strikes to lift Toulouse out of drop zone with win over Troyes

Toulouse moved out of Ligue 1's bottom three for the first time since October thanks to a slender 1-0 win over already-relegated Troyes.Substitute Oscar Trejo's strike early in the second-half proved enough for Pascal Dupraz's side as they extended their current run of decent form which has seen them lose just once in their previous six.Defeat for the visitors, their tenth in eleven matches, wraps up a woeful season on the road for Mohamed Bradja's side who have long since been preparing for a rapid return to Ligue 2.La Tefece made a solid start with the lively Wissam Ben Yedder going close following an effort from just inside the area which nestled on the wrong side of the side-netting.Ben Yedder continued to cause problems and, after latching on to Martin Braithwaite's neat pass, it looked like the French midfielder might open the scoring but his effort ended up just the wrong side of Mathieu Dreyer's post.Only some smart defending from Troyes' Johan Martial prevented Ben Yedder from netting following some decent build-up play between Braithwaite and Adrien Regattin as the hosts continued to press for the opener.Toulouse picked up after after the restart where they left off and, despite Marcel Tisserand heading just wide on 48 minutes, the hosts got their deserved breakthrough.Regattin's direct running caused problems for the visitors' defence and Trejo showed great footwork from his cutback before dispatching a clinical finish beyond Dreyer into the bottom corner, just minutes after being introduced by boss Dupraz.
