Frosinone 0-2 AS Roma

The first ever derby clash between Frosinone and Roma went the way of the established Serie A giants as the Giallorossi emerged 2-0 winners at the Stadio Matusa.Iago Falque's goal late in the first half and a last-gasp Juan Iturbe strike saw Rudi Garcia's men see off the newcomers.Frosinone, in the top flight for the first time in their history, started well with Aleksandar Tonev and Robert Gucher going close but Edin Dzeko should have put the visitors in front, just failing to get on the end of a Falque cross inside the six-yard box.Seydou Keita then wasted a free header as Roma probed for the breakthrough. The hosts remained a threat thoughout and Wojciech Szczesny had to make a good one-handed save to keep out Tonev's fierce strike.Frosinone were caught out by a bizarre goal after 44 minutes. Nobody managed to cut out a Lucas Digne throw-in, allowing Falque to bundle the ball over the line at the back post for his first goal for Roma.Szczesny preserved his side's lead with a save to deny Aleandro Rosi, while at the other end Alessandro Florenzi was unlucky to see his shot strike the crossbar with seven minutes of the match remaining.Frosinone continued to push forward in search of the equalising goal but they were caught out in the third minute of injury time with a classic counter attack which ended with Iturbe firing the ball high into the roof of the net.ends
