Nothing can stop St Etienne recovering to beat Angers
Ten-man St Etienne came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Angers and move up to eighth in the Ligue 1 table.
The hosts were given a penalty on 12 minutes after Bryan Dabo pulled back Nicolas Pepe, Famara Diedhiou stepped up but Stephane Ruffier produced a wonderful save down to his right to tip the ball around a post.
Angers only had to wait five minutes before Pepe put them in front after calmly rounding Ruffier and slotting into an empty net as the hosts took a half-time lead.
Florentin Pogba headed in an equaliser with 30 minutes remaining to begin the comeback before Oussama Tannane sealed the win with a mazy run and finish despite Kevin Malcuit's late red card.
