AaB 3-0 Dynamo Kiev

Two goals from Nikolaj Thomsen saw host AaB to a surprise 3-0 win over in-form Dynamo Kiev. The Ukrainian side had not lost in 13 matches across all competitions and won both of their previous Europa League matches in Group J prior to their humbling at Aalborg Stadion.Thomas Enevoldsen set the ball rolling in the 11th minute before Thomsen netted once in each half to secure the points for a side hardly recognisable from the one battered 6-0 by Steaua Bucharest on matchday one.AaB were quick to pour forward, Enevoldsen getting into the box and testing goalkeeper Olexandr Rybka with less than three minutes gone.Kiev returned fire as both Andriy Yarmalenko and Jeremain Lens tried their luck from range, but it was the hosts who took the lead.Enevoldsen was the scorer, producing a clinical low volley from the edge of the area after Aleksander Dragovic failed to fully clear Kasper Risgard's cross.Yarmolenko almost levelled 10 minutes later when hit the post and Nikolai Larsen made saves from Lens and Serhiy Sydorchuk as Kiev pressed hard. But the visitors were caught out again six minutes before the break, Enevoldsen and Risgard involved once before before Andreas Bruhn found the killer ball for Thomsen to tap home.Lens' battle with Larsen had one more instalment before the interval, the keeper saving an 18-yard effort.Enevoldsen continued to cause problems after break, with Yarmolenko the visitors' busiest player only to let himself down with a string of moderate finishes.Dynamo could not get on the scoresheet, though, Lukasz Teodorczyk passing up a golden chance when heading wide from a corner.Instead the last word of the night went to Thomsen, who clipped home his second after Soren Frederiksen glided down the left and drilled the ball across goal for him.ends
