Ryan McGeever scores late winner for Queen's Park

Ryan McGeever's late goal boosted Queen's Park play-off hopes as they snatched a 2-1 win over lowly Abroath.Queen's Park should have gone ahead in the ninth minute when Gavin Mitchell excellently played Chris Duggan in but the forward could not make contact.They soon combined twice again but each time keeper Allan Fleming saved.The Spiders went ahead on 32 minutes when Duggan turned provider down the right, cutting back for Paul Woods to emphatically find the top corner with his 10th league goal of the campaign.David Galt almost doubled the lead before the break but his header hit the post and Duggan shot narrowly wide just after the interval.Those misses proved costly when unmarked Arbroath substitute Kane Hester nodded in at the back post from Josh Skelly's cross.Soon after Sean Burns went near from close range for the Spiders, who got a deserved winner when McGeever headed home from Craig McLeish's assist.
