Jamie Insall and Jonathan Page at the double as East Fife beat Annan

Jamie Insall and Jonathan Page scored a brace apiece as East Fife moved top of Scottish League Two thanks to a 4-2 victory over Annan at the Bayview Stadium. The hosts got off to a strong start with Insall tapping Kyle Wilkie's cross into the back of the net from close range with the first real chance of the match after just four minutes - his sixth goal since joining the club on loan in November. Two minutes later Page doubled the Fifers' lead as the former Motherwell youth player slotted into the bottom corner from Gary Naysmith's floated corner.Peter Weatherson pulled one back for Annan with a free-kick just after the break but Kevin Smith provided the assist for Page to head home his second from the six-yard box to restore the two-goal cushion as the match approached the hour mark. The home side looked to put the score beyond doubt 10 minutes later as Smith again provided the cross as Hibs loanee Insall fired into the top corner before Smart Osadolor reduced the deficit within the final 10 minutes.
