Mikael Lustig's lone goal sends Sweden past 10-man Luxembourg

Mikael Lustig scored the only goal of the game as Sweden won for the first time in five outings with a 1-0 World Cup Qualifying Group A victory over 10-man Luxembourg.

Anthony Moris kept Luxembourg in the game in the opening 45 minutes with a string of fine blocks to deny Emil Forsberg, Marcus Berg and Martin Olsson but saved his best for first-half stoppage time when he brilliantly tipped Forsberg's shot around the post.

And the Sweden pressure finally told in the 57th minute when Lustig opened the scoring, volleying in Berg's lay-off from a corner.

Kevin Malget was sent off for Luxembourg late on after catching Andreas Granqvist in the face with his arm.
