Partick Thistle 2-0 Queen's Park

Partick Thistle comfortably progressed to the last 16 of the Betfred League Cup with a 100 percent record after disposing of Queen's Park 2-0 in the local derby.
Chris Erskine set the home side on their way after only seven minutes, then set up Liam Lindsay to seal a commanding victory for the Jags.
The League One side threatened little against their Premiership opponents, and defeat for the near neighbours sees them eliminated from the cup at the first hurdle.
After a scrappy opening the visitors almost went in front through Aiden Malone's near post header after only five minutes, but Thistle regrouped and punished the striker's miss through Erskine less than a minute later.
The playmaker beat the offside trap from a long ball forward to send a looping header past Andrew Murphy.
Erskine, in his third spell at Firhill since re-joining from Dundee United, proved how important a figure he will be in Alan Archibald's side this season after another impressive League Cup display.
The goal sparked the Jags into life and they had further chances to increase their lead through Ryan Edwards and Kris Doolan in a dominant first half.
The hosts continued to control the play in the second half but poor finishing left them frustrated in their efforts to increase the lead.
David Wilson had the pick of the chances when he found space inside the box to latch onto David Amoo's cross, but the midfielder was wasteful as he headed wide.
Substitute Ade Azeez was next to get his head onto an Amoo delivery, but the crossbar denied him doubling the Jags lead.
But defender Lindsay showed the striker the way to goal with 10 minutes remaining, heading home Erskine's corner to seal victory.
