Charlton Athletic 3-1 Walsall

Charlton secured a third straight win with a 3-1 home win over Walsall to maintain their Sky Bet League One play-off push.Joe Aribo's 31st-minute opener for the Addicks had been cancelled out shortly before the break by Erhun Oztumer's equaliser. Both sides hit the woodwork in an entertaining encounter, with Kory Roberts' untimely 73rd-minute own goal restoring Charlton's lead. And the points were wrapped up in the final minute by Stephy Mavididi as the Addicks built on their impressive current form. The Addicks broke the deadlock when Mark Marshall whipped in a left-wing cross which just failed to find the head of Josh Magennis, although Aribo was ideally placed to volley home from close range. The visitors were back on level terms four minutes before the break as Luke Leahy's cross found the unmarked Oztumer and the former Addicks youngster headed past Ben Amos, the effort hitting the post on its way in.Kory Roberts got an unfortunate final touch just as Mavididi was about to pull the trigger in the 73rd minute to turn the ball into his own net to restore the lead. And the outcome was put beyond doubt by Mavididi in the 89th minute, the Arsenal loanee bursting into the box, cutting inside a defender before firing past Liam Roberts.
