Szmodics wins it for Colchester

Sammie Szmodics' 10th goal of the season helped Colchester beat promotion rivals Swindon in an entertaining contest at the County Ground.Kaiyne Woolery had opened the scoring for Swindon, before goals from Frankie Kent and Mikael Mandron put the visitors ahead.Kellan Gordon equalised 15 minutes from time before Szmodics calmly netted three minutes later to seal a 3-2 win for John McGreal's men and move them into the play-off positions in Sky Bet League Two.After a cagey opening, Swindon took a 36th-minute lead when Matt Taylor's free-kick was headed out as far as Woolery, who powered his shot into the bottom corner from 12 yards.Colchester equalised seconds before the half-time whistle as a corner fell to the feet of Kent, whose shot flew in off a post.The visitors took the lead just after the hour mark when Mandron headed in Kyel Reid's free-kick from six yards for his seventh goal of the season.Swindon levelled after a corner fell to Gordon, whose low effort beat goalkeeper Sam Walker.However, Szmodics won it when he was found unmarked in the box and Colchester's top scorer fired the ball into the bottom left corner.
