Ayr stay top after comfortable win at Stranraer

Ayr maintained their lead at the top of Scottish League One with a 5-1 win at Stranraer who dropped out of the promotion play-off spots as a result of the defeat.
Lawrence Shankland and Alan Forrest netted a brace apiece, with Michael Moffat also getting on the scoresheet for Ayr.
Shankland opened the scoring after eight minutes and Moffat extended Ayr's lead six minutes before the break.
Forest netted Ayr's third (49), Shankland got his second eight minutes into the second half and Forest completed his double with 27 minutes remaining. Kyle Turner (80) got Stranraer's consolation.
Second-placed Raith Rovers kept up the pressure on the leaders with a narrow 3-2 win away to East Fife.
Scott Roberton put Raith ahead after eight minutes but Kyle Wilkie levelled for the home side.
Liam Buchanan restored Raith's lead before Scott Linton drew East Fife level once more, only for Dario Zanatta to decide it with the final goal 11 minutes from the end.
Alloa remain third after coming from behind to draw 2-2 at home with strugglers Queen's Park.
Ross Stewart gave Alloa the lead early on only for Queen's Park to go in front through Luke Donnelly and an Adam Cummins penalty. Kris Renton earned Alloa a draw when he scored with five minutes remaining.
Arbroath moved into the play-off spots with a 1-0 win at bottom side Forfar thanks to Leighton McIntosh's goal two minutes before half-time.
Scott McLaughlin scored a late equaliser from a corner to earn Airdrie a 2-2 draw at Albion Rovers.
Alan Trouten (57) and Dean Cairns (75) had both put Albion ahead but Willis Furtado (70) and McLaughlin ensured the spoils were shared.
