Luis Quinones on fire as Tigres thrash New York City FC

Luis Quinones assisted three of four goals to lead Tigres to a 4-0 rout of New York City FC in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal on Tuesday.

The Mexican club's big win earned them a 5-0 aggregate victory over the series, with the first leg played all the way back in March.

Tigres got goals from Andre-Pierre Gignac (30th minute), Leonardo Fernandez (49th), Rafael Carioca (64th) and Javier Aquino (85th) to advance to the CONCACAF Champions League semifinal against Club Olimpia.

NYCFC outshot Tigres 15-6 but put only four on target. Meanwhile, Tigres put all six of their shots on target.
