A Scottish women's rugby player who tested positive for the coronavirus earlier this month has been released from hospital, Scottish Rugby have announced.
Scotland women's Six Nations clash against France women -- scheduled for March 7 -- was postponed after the unnamed Scottish player tested positive for the virus. Their previous game in this year's championship against Italy was also postponed.
"Scottish Rugby is pleased to confirm the Scotland Women player who contracted coronavirus has now been released from hospital, no longer need to self-isolate and is feeling back to normal," it said in a statement.
"The seven Scotland Women players and staff self-isolating have also been cleared to resume daily life."
All editions of this year's Six Nations were heavily affected by the coronavirus outbreak. The men's competition saw its final round of fixtures postponed due to the virus, as well as Ireland vs. Italy in Round 4.
Other competitions within rugby, including the Champions Cup, TOP14, PRO14 and Premiership Rugby have also seen postponements.
