Schalke have signed Brazilian full-back Junior Caicara from Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad for a reported fee of between €5 million and €6 million.

The Bundesliga club's director of sport, Horst Heldt, confirmed the transfer on the club's official website.
He said: "We saw how important it is to have equal alternatives for every position last season.
"With Junior Caicara, we have another right fullback on the roster besides Atsuto Uchida, and that is sure to help us."
Heldt said he believed Caicara was "looking forward to this new challenge" and added: "We have been scouting him closely for months, and have been convinced by his skills."
Caicara played in last season's Champions League for Ludogorets, who faced Liverpool in the group stages.
