Sevilla are on the verge of signing Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, rescuing a deal which was initially thought to have collapsed.
Europa League champions Sevilla, who beat Dnipro in last season's final, had announced several days ago they had pulled out of the race to sign the 25-year-old.
But the Andalusian outfit has now reached an agreement with Konoplyanka to join the team on a permanent transfer, with the winger poised to sign a four-year contract.

The £15 million-rated Konoplyanka is a free agent this summer after spending eight seasons at Dnipro, and there have been had no shortage of admirers.
Atletico Madrid had reportedly monitored Konoplyanka as a possible replacement for Arda Turan should the Turkey midfielder depart this summer.
Newcastle and Stoke City also made approaches to acquire the Ukraine international in recent months, while Tottenham and Liverpool were reportedly interested.
A statement from Sevilla read: "Sevilla have reached an agreement with the player, subject to a medical and for the definite agreement with Dnipro to be completed.
"Konoplyanka is in Seville to undergo a medical."
Konoplyanka enjoyed an impressive 2014-15 campaign with Dnipro, scoring eight goals in 42 official games.
A youth product of the club, he scored one goal and set up three more in 15 appearances to help his team reach the Europa League final last season.
Konoplyanka got the attention of Sevilla when he started against them in the final in Warsaw on May 27.
The Spanish club won the game 3-2 to claim a record fourth Europa League title while at the same time gaining insight into Konoplyanka.
Signing the winger would please Sevilla coach Unai Emery, who has lost one key player from last season's squad and is about to wave goodbye to another.
Sevilla sold right-back Aleix Vidal to Barcelona and have agreed to sell Colombian forward Carlos Bacca -- the club's top scorer for the past two seasons -- to AC Milan.
Emery last week praised Konoplyanka and also revealed his club had been working hard to sign him.
"Konoplyanka is a matter that has always been difficult," Emery said. "He is a very good player.
"There is a risk regarding the language issue and adapting to our country but it's one we are willing to take if we are able to finalise the deal.
"We are only able to sign one or two players that cost more than €6m but once it goes over €10m, we rule that out."
However, the sale of Vidal and expected move of Bacca appears to have given Sevilla an opportunity to make an exception.
Sevilla finished fifth in La Liga but will play in the Champions League next season after their successful defence of the Europa League title.
"To the players, we sell our club as a Champions League club, that all the players that come here continue to grow their game," Emery added.
"The footballers that come here know this is not the final station but a train stop that allows you to take a bigger train in the future."
