Real Sociedad have signed Juanmi from Southampton for an undisclosed fee.
Juanmi, 23, only joined the Saints from Malaga last summer but struggled to make an impact during his time at the Premier League club.
The striker made just two starts last season for Southampton, failing to score a goal, and has now returned to La Liga.
Juanmi has penned a five-year deal with Sociedad, who finished ninth in Spain's top flight last term, after passing a medical on Tuesday.
"I am proud to be part of such a historic club with a great project," Juanmi told Sociedad's official website.

The one-cap Spain international will wear the No. 7 shirt for his new club.
"He is an important player with a great future and is already an international," Sociedad sporting director Loren added.
