Bordeaux have signed former France midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from Monaco.
Toulalan, 32, has penned a two-year contract to become Jocelyn Gourvennec's first signing since taking over as coach of Les Girondins in May.
A statement on Bordeaux's website read: "FC Girondins de Bordeaux have completed their first big coup of the summer transfer market with the arrival of Jeremy Toulalan.
"The former Monaco player has signed a two-year contract [to June 2018] after passing his medical."

Toulalan made his professional debut with Nantes in 2002 and played five seasons with Les Canaris before moving on to Lyon where he won two Ligue 1 titles and a Coupe de France.
He played outside France for the first time after moving to Spanish side Malaga in 2011, returning two seasons later with Monaco and helping them to second place in 2014 and two successive third-placed finishes. They also reached the Champions League quarterfinal in 2015.
The versatile Toulalan won 36 France caps from his debut against the Faroe Islands in 2006 to 2010's World Cup group game against Mexico.
