Rubin Kazan have reached an agreement to sign midfielder Alex Song from Barcelona.
Song, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at West Ham, joined Barcelona from Arsenal in 2012 but was unable to make an impact at the Camp Nou.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reports that the 28-year-old Cameroonian will join Rubin on a free transfer if he passes his medical.

A message on Rubin's Twitter account read: "FC Rubin announce reaching preliminary agreement ahead of signing Alex Song."
Barca had made clear that Song was not in coach Luis Enrique's plans when he was not given a date to begin preseason training this summer.
