Valencia have denied media reports in Spain that midfielder Dani Parejo is set to leave the club during the January transfer window.
Superdeporte claimed that Valencia sporting director Jose Ramon Alesanco and club technical secretary Vicente Rodriguez met with Parejo after Tuesday's training session to fuel speculation that the player's departure is imminent.
However, the club tweeted a statement that said: "VCF wants to make it clear that rumours of a conversation between @DaniParejo and Alesanco over leaving the club are completely false."

Superdeporte recently reported that Valencia were willing to sell Parejo this month and planned to use the funds on buying new players.
Reports in Spain that Sevilla had rekindled their interest in signing Parejo were denied by club sporting director Monchi, who stated on Tuesday that his team has an "overbooking in Parejo's position."
Parejo was close to joining Sevilla in the summer but it is believed that Valencia turned down the Andalusian club's €10 million bid.
The 27-year-old has been one of Valencia's bright lights in an otherwise dismal campaign for the team.
He has scored three goals and set up five more in 17 league starts for Valencia, the club he joined in 2011 from Getafe.
Earlier this week, Valencia coach Salvador "Voro" Gonzalez gave a strong indication that Parejo will stay put.
He told Cadena Cope: "Parejo is a very important player for us.
"I'm very happy with his performances and I have trust in him. If he were to leave, we would have to find another player in his position and it's not easy to find a replacement for Parejo, not least in the winter transfer window.
"I count on Parejo because he is a player that will give us a lot. Many people would like to have Parejo in their team and I want to have him in mine."
Valencia are 17th in La Liga, four points clear of the drop zone, and make a short trip to play at Villarreal on Saturday.
