Borussia Dortmund have signed Freiburg winger Maximilian Philipp, who becomes their fourth new arrival of the summer.
Germany under-21 international Philipp, 23, has signed a five-year deal and moves for a reported fee of up to €20 million, becoming the first signing since the appointment of coach Peter Bosz.
Having already signed defenders Omer Toprak from Bayer Leverkusen and Dan-Axel Zagadou from Paris Saint-Germain, along with Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mo Dahoud, BVB have now reinforced their attack.
"BVB are one of the biggest clubs worldwide," Philipp told the club's official website. "It's an honour for me to be able to play here. I believe that at 23 I am old enough to dare to take this step. I want to continue my development at Dortmund."
He is also looking forward to playing in front of the "Yellow Wall" -- the name given to the fans in the Sudtribune stand at the Westfalenstadion.
"It's angst-inducing for opponents," he said. "I am looking forward to playing for them and getting pushed by them."

Philipp, who scored nine goals and set up a further three last season, could step in for Marco Reus as the 28-year-old recovers from the cruciate ligament injury that will rule him out until at least October.
He had been linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and domestic rivals RB Leipzig, with the latter pulling out of a deal because they believed the price was too high.
"The fee breaks the mould, and that's why we've taken our hat out of the ring again," RB sporting executive Ralf Rangnick said.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said: "We are delighted to have convinced Maximilian Philipp of BVB despite competitors from Bundesliga and abroad. He's a versatile player in attacking midfield, has a strong finish and a great perspective."
Philipp told his former club's website: "I am looking forward to the big challenge at BVB. It's a dream come true. In spite of that, it's still my desire to thank SC Freiburg for the last few years.
"I'd like to thank the entire club with all its employees, the surroundings, the fans, but also [sporting executive] Jochen Saier and [sporting director] Klemens Hartenbach and my agent Dirk Pietroschinsky, who enabled me to make this move, and especially my coach and mentor Christian Streich, I owe him a great deal."
Hartenbach said Freiburg were disappointed to lose Philipp.
"Maximilian Philipp joined us an 18-year-old player and made it to Bundesliga through the Freiburg academy," he said. "It's definitely not easy to allow a player like Maximilian Philipp to move on.
"Then again, the development he's taken here is another good example of how players can make progress at Freiburg. We thank him for the great years we had together."
